My name is Angela Lynnette, 27 years old. I am a print model from DC.
How did you get into modeling?
I started modeling when I was about 4 years old...I did a few runway shows with my mom. Picked it back up when I was 18 (still doing runway) and then I decided to return (but kept my focus on editorial work) in August of 2010.

What is currently playing on your iPod?
I am stuck on Last Train to Paris. My favorite song is 'Yesterday', it fits my life right now.
What are some other goals in magazines and fashion that you would want to accomplish?
I'd love to be the "go to" girl that magazines want to book for their editorial shoots. I want to become their household name. I eventually want to venture back onto the runway scene as well. Those shows were always fun.
For those looking to follow in your footsteps, what would you say it takes for someone to succeed in the modeling industry?
Patience and tough skin (laughs). Not everyone is going to think highly of you. You are always going to have flaws to someone but you have to take those negatives and turn them into positives. No one got far by always shutting down...you have to learn how to take the constructive criticism.
Can you tell the ladies your secret to being beautiful?
(Laughs) I honestly dont have have a secret. I just try to take care of my body inside and out by eating right and drinking lots of water.
What other future aspirations do you have for yourself?
Right now, im actually thinking of devoloping a lip gloss line to go hand in hand with modeling. I can work for someone else doing what I love and then I can also work for myself.
What is your vice?
SHOES!!!! (Laughs) I go bananas in the shoe department.
