The day before Tupac Shakur’s 40th birthday, one of the mysteries that surrounded his life has been solved. Though his murder remains unsolved, AllHipHop.com reports that Dexter Isaac, an associate of music exec Jimmy Henchman, has confessed to shooting 2Pac in the lobby of Quad Studios in November 1994. He says Henchman paid him $2,500 for the hit.
This is the shooting the essentially sparked the East coast vs. West coast beef. Tupac accused Biggie and Pac for setting him up. On the song “Against All Oddsâ€, Pac even pointed fingers at Henchman.
Because of statue of limitations, Issac will not be prosecuted for the crime. He also admitted to still having Pac’s jewelery. Meanwhile, Henchman is currently on the run from Federal agents after failing to turn himself in cocaine distribution charges.
