JUKEBOXDC: Give us an introduction and tell us a little about yourself?
Mary Jane: I was born in Washington DC, raised in Alexandria, Va. I’m mixed with Dominican & African American. I get my love for modeling from my grandmother. She constantly dressed me up like a doll and took pictures. As I grew more independent, modeling became serious once I realized people will pay for my time.

Rick James made a song about Mary Jane almost 33 years ago. What made you decide to take that name in your modeling career?
Everyone knows Rick James and his love of marijuana, also called "Mary Jane". But [also] in the 80's he made an all girl group called the Mary Jane girls. These girls were every man’s dream. Jojo was sexy and streetwise, Maxi was the leather queen/dominatrix, Candi was the seducer, & Corvette was the wild & trendy one. I feel like I am these things and more. Everyone loves Mary Jane.
When did you get into acting? Would you say acting or modeling is your first love?
Modeling and music videos involve some type of acting, as well as the commercials and promo videos I've done. But I didn't do my first independent film until this year and fell in love instantly. Modeling is my first love, but I'd say I have a deeper passion now for acting.
Which one would you say you enjoy more overall?
Even though acting is new to me I enjoy acting more because your audience has to not only "see" you but must also "hear" you when you portray a character.
Tell us a little about the movie you are filming?
Banana Pudding started off as a book by Alah Adams. I play the role of Monica who is a beautiful woman that is trying to achieve her goals after coming from a difficult background. She finds the man of her dreams Adonis, but has a secret that could make her lose everything.
What type of guys are you interested in? What is your biggest turn on & turn off?
I'm interested in someone with brains and confidence. My biggest turn on are tattoos all over a man’s body. My turn off would have to be weakness.
We last saw you in the 'Air Force' Video....what other videos have you been in since?
I've appeared in Paypa Soldierz, Mr. GoodNight, and S.U.N.N.E which is on WorldStar HipHop. Currently working on a project with Raheem Davaughn called Prototype. Have many more in store.
If you could seduce and sleep with any celebrity, who would it be? What would you do to get him? Paint the picture.
I don’t know about seducing or sleeping with, but everyone should know I have a huge crush on Wiz Khalifa. But if anything they should be wanting me. :)
What is your VICE?
My vice would have to be my love for southern food and the fact I hate the gym. I just love to eat, and boy can I eat. Lol, I'm glad I have a fast metabolism but eventually I'm going to have to eat right and exercise. Until then, pass the Fried Chicken. :)
