One of the most respected names in hip-hop, Talib Kweli returns to the UK this March. The shows will have support from two of the UK’s hottest rappers – Lowkey and Mic Righteous.

Talib Kweli has built up a strong live following with shows where he interacts directly with his audience.Both Jay-Z and 50 Cent have cited him as one of their favourite rappers and Kweli has collaborated with musical pioneers such as Mos Def, The Roots, and Kanye West.

He will be performing tracks from his incredible back catalogue as well as songs from his forthcoming album ‘Prisoner Of Conscious’

The shows will have support from two fellow conscious-minded lyricists. They’re also the two hottest MCs in the UK. Lowkey, who made it to #7 on MTV’s best UK MC’s for 2012, and MIC Righteous, who is rapidly becoming one of the most talked about young stars in the UK hip-hop and grime scene.

Lowkey, a poet, playwrite and political activist has been one of the biggest success stories of recent years.

His independently-released album ‘Soundtrack To The Struggle’ charted in the top ten of iTunes hip hop album charts in the UK, US, Australia and Canada last autumn.

Since MIC Righteous’ dropped his debut mixtape ‘Yob Culture’ last summer he has built up a rapidly expanding fanbase.

His videos have already had over 2 million views on YouTube.

His forthcoming mixtape ‘Kam-Pain’ is set to see him get even bigger in 2012.
