Rumor has it that Ed Sheeran might be one of the lucky folks taking the stage during the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games. And, while nothing has been confirmed, reading through the thinly veiled answer the singer gave MTV News last week, it’s safe to say he’ll be there.
“I was told not to say anything about that and then as soon as I was told not to say anything about that it was in the Daily Mail the next day. It was a bit odd,” he explained. “The closing ceremony, there were rumors I am playing the closing ceremony. Those rumors may or may not be true.”
