The theme for the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 show was “Corsets and Capes”. Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey took the signature and iconic look of the brand and made it futuristic and fresh without losing the retro feel. The signature trench was redone in metallic leather, jewel tones, ombre and corset detailing. In keeping with the collection’s theme, capes including cropped capelets in glossy plastic and bomber-style walked the catwalk, along with tap shorts, peplum tops, snake skin metallic wedge heels and slinky pencil skirts.

How do you like the new look of Burberry?

Colorblocking chic! The boxy cut of the top paired with this high-waisted pencil skirt in jewel tones is very chic!
