Chief Keef In Concert

There were other topics as well (and you can read them here), but the best parts of Chief Keef’s recent interview with Billboard can be found below.

On being in rehab:

“It’s like being locked up…And when I’m locked up, I don’t want anybody to come see me. I won’t let my family come here. I haven’t seen my 2-year-old daughter.”

On (presumably) every project since Finally Rich:

“My last two mixtapes were mistakes…I was on promethazine, all drugged out. I was tweaking. I don’t sip the lean no more though.”

All of the recent steps taken seem to point to what will be a serious return to the great, ultra-violent-yet-undeniably-crafty music he was previously known for in the form of his upcoming album Bang 3. Can’t wait.
