Two big reveals from a couple of Hip-Hop’s brightest and up-and-coming stars. First: earlier this week, Chance The Rapper’s brother and talented artist Taylor Bennett took to social media to reveal that he’s bisexual:
My birthday is tomorrow & moving into next year I'd like to be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues
— Taylor Bennett (@_TaylorBennett) January 18, 2017
Growing up I've always felt indifferent about my sexuality & being attracted 2 one sex & today I would like to openly come out to my fans
— Taylor Bennett (@_TaylorBennett) January 18, 2017
I do recognize myself as a bisexual male & do & have always openly supported the gay community & will keep doing so in 2017. #ThankYou

Then — today — ILOVEMAKONNEN revealed to the world that he’s gay (which, admittedly, isn’t really that big of a surprise…sorry bruh):
Someone said to me next time they see me, they was gonna fuck me , I said next time I see me, I'm gonna love me up

As a fashion icon, I can't tell u about everybody else's closet, I can only tell u about mine, and it's time I've come out.

And since y'all love breaking news, here's some old news to break, I'm gay. And now I've told u about my life, maybe u can go life yours

Respect to both artists. Frank Ocean and Mykki Blanco included, we’re definitely living into a new age of openness within Hip-Hop.
