The seven-time Grammy winner is teaming with American Express, VEVO and director Hamish Hamilton for a one-of-a-kind interactive livestream viewable on YouTube, via mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and, for the first time ever, via XBOX Live.

The performance area inside the Hammersmith Apollo will be enhanced with an interactive video installation that is reactive to the singer’s dance movements and will display various fan-generated content, allowing viewers from around the world to actually become part of the show.

Starting tomorrow (June 1) fans will have the opportunity to visit www.amexunstaged.com/usher and create their own customized digital dancers, many of which will be broadcast on the in-venue installation and seen dancing alongside Usher as he performs his hit single “Scream.”

Select tweets containing the hashtag #AmexUNSTAGED will also be chosen for display on the installation, giving fans the chance to share their thoughts with the entire Usher-loving world.

The highly interactive show will coincide with the June 11th UK release of Usher’s highly-anticipated seventh album Looking 4 Myself.

“I am excited to introduce my new album with a worldwide performance in such an innovative way,” the singer said in the event press release. “It’s very exciting to interact with my fans from a global stage through American Express Unstaged’s live stream.”

The entire spectacle will be orchestrated by Hamilton, who promises a fun, unique experience.

“I’m going to transport every viewer to Hammersmith in my home town of London to enjoy Usher in the most visceral way possible, helping to elevate his killer performance, artistic flair, and his new sounds out to the global masses,” he said.

Usher’s American Express Unstaged will be livestreamed June 11th at 4:00 PM ET / 9:00 PM BST on www.youtube.com/UsherVEVO as well as on the YouTube mobile website and VEVO’s free mobile and XBOX Live apps.
