I’ll let them tell it:

Squingy USG does it again, with another pioneering idea for the song “FIND A WAY.”

Colours who features on FIND A WAY, is sitting down in HMP, whilst he fights to clear his name.

Squingy wrote the treatment for the video, the story is about one day in the life of man going through trials and tribulations, who has got to find a way to make TODAY better than YESTERDAY, he goes through problems in the ghetto as he seeks redemption for his past sins. However, he cannot sleep peacefully; he has constant nightmares and the demons from his past return to haunt him. His evil past seems to catch up with, and pull him back to the gutter, but he has hope and is determined to find a way through the mean streets, to a better a life.

However, he finds life confusing as he fights to stay alive in a world where it is hard for him to separate fact from fiction, dreams from reality, but with every step and the support of his girlfriend, he feels he is on the right path to FIND A WAY to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Squingy wanted the look and feel to be like a movie, or a documentary, we follow our lead character as he tries to find a way through the roads of Stonebridge, Kilburn, Cricklewood, Paddington and Edmonton.

There is a melody of tracks from Squingy USG’s mixtape that plays under the short film, with tracks such as Outlaw, Dark Side, Deeper, Bang Bang Crazy, Dance With Me.

Squingy cast Nicky “Slimting” Walker, a rising star in the world of film, in the lead role, after working with him on the set of the soon to be released film FEDZ. Squingy also gave us a brief of the kind of girl he wanted as the girlfriend, one with tatts, a ride or die female, Chantelle Adair fitted the role and makes her acting debut.

Leon at talented actor, from Stonebridge, plays theVillain, the devil, the man that haunts our hero in his nightmares as he tries to find a way out of hell.

Squingy did all the work, so all we had to do was get the locations and crew and shoot.
