While I normally could care less about anything Gaga-related, this is kind of groundbreaking.  According to Rolling Stone, the pop-star will be performing in space for the Zero-G Music Tech Festival at New Mexico’s Spaceport America in 2015.  Huffpost claims “Gaga will perform one song at the crack of dawn (she’ll reportedly undergo a month’s worth of vocal training in order to ready herself for the atmosphere). Gaga intends to travel in a Virgin Galactic ship, and the 27-year-old will also reportedly take out a massive life-insurance policy…”  Some have claimed that she will be the first to perform music in space, but obviously that title should go to Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield, who performed a cover of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” last time he was in orbit.  I’ve included that video below.
