Spotted on Daily Mail:

A double murder investigation has been launched following the deaths of two men.

Ambulance services were called to the scene in Montague Road, Leytonstone, north east London, shortly before 1am following reports of two injured people.

They found the two seriously wounded men, believed to be in their 20s, in a vehicle and alerted the police. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

News services report the two men had been shot, but this is yet to be confirmed by police.
Tributes, some of which appear to be addressed to Aaron and Josiah, have been left at the scene throughout the day.

Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses and information.

An incident room has opened in Barking under Detective Chief Inspector Neil Attewell from the Homicide and Major Crime Command.

Post-mortem examinations were due to take place at Walthamstow Mortuary this afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said it was unclear how long the post-mortem investigations were going to take.

They added it could take longer than usual because both of the men are to be examined together.

The ambulance crew was called at 12.45 this morning. London 999 service sent two ambulances, a fast response unit and a conventional ambulance.

London’s air ambulance doctor was also dispatched by car.
