Ant Glizzy, probably the second-most know “Glizzy,” drops his first solo mixtape, Barbara Son. He’s been fairly quiet recently, except for a few features and loose tracks. Ant doesn’t stray far from his usual style on this project. Street-heavy bars and lyrical feats from a project-dweller make this tape a perfect one for Trap fans. With features and Beats From Young Money Yawn, Lightshow, Beat Zombie, Roger Beats, Sincere, Cham and more, “Barbara Son” is a solid project, despite most of the Glizzies absence. Ant addresses this, mostly this innuendos. One of the most direct mentions of a falling out is on “So Sorry,” where he raps “Even Birdman switched up on Lil Wayne. These n****s said that I ain’t Glizzy Gang. Whats Tha Carter without Lil Wayne?”
