FOX 5 recently sat down with Tony Lewis, Jr. to speak on life growing up with an incarcerated parent; if you don’t know his story (and you really should), his father — drug kingpin Tony Lewis — was sentenced to life in prison when Lewis, Jr. was only 8 years old.

Check out the interview above; Lewis also has a book out that speaks more on his life (and what he and many others have been doing to repair our communities) titled Slugg: A Boy’s Life in the Age of Mass Incarceration. You can check out more on that here.
