After a number of great singles and months of recording, Alexandria rapper Big Ka$h releases his “last mixtape,” You Ain’t Me Sucka. The long-awaited project is produced mostly by Ka$h himself, alongside 60 OZ and Loco Beatz. Ka$h’s heartfelt struggle is accompanied by spirited beats and features from newcomers (to us) like Big Runo and Reggie Reg. Through the struggles of losing family and friends, the Alexandria rapper prevails through his music in YAMS. The tape also has multiple tributes to the late Julian Dawkins, who was gunned down by a Sheriff’s Deputy two years ago. Ka$h addressed topics like diss songs, police brutality, and life in the Virginia city he calls home, giving listeners much more than the average mixtape.
