What a powerful image of Black love in D.C. (and period!). This weekend, Alfred Duncan (whom we know as one of the members of the band Mambo Sauce, as well as a recent SOJA collaborator) decided to give his girlfriend Sherrell (formerly) Woodward a day for the ages: he proposed to her midday and then surprised her with an epic wedding later that evening. Also: For anyone making negative comments of these two, y’all must be some of the most unhappy, non-relationship-having people on the planet. If you are married, don’t get mad at them for your mistakes. Probably the nicest way we could express this.
