Stream: “Leaving London” – Ophelia Cache
Yo who thought of this?! How’d they even know this would work? …sh*t is dope though.
When I read the description it said that Ophelia Cache sounded like someone you’d hear on an old phonograph or something. …Super old school. But damn is it blended well with post modern hip-hip.
Taking strong influence from Billie Holiday, Josephine Baker, Amy Winehouse, and James Blake. Ophelia‘s music is something you’d take while sippin’ your Jack and your Bourbon. …Some high class sh*t. (… Or as Ophelia would say. “A sonically sweet amaretto for the ear’s drinking pleasure.”). Posted her latest song “Leaving London”, plus a few others below. Enjoy…

Mother Reportedly Raped Her 2-Year-Old Son With A Vibrator
From the Phoenix New Times:
The Phoenix woman accused of shoving a vibrator into her 2-year-old son’s anus has pleaded not guilty to charges in the case. The vibrator had to be surgically removed.
Rickesha Burns, 21, called police almost two weeks ago, reporting that her son was bleeding from his anus but said she didn’t know exactly what happened.
She said she was at a park with her son that day, March 24, and while she was “looking at a text message for about 10 seconds,” a boy she didn’t know at the park did “something” to her son, according to court documents obtained by New Times.
“She said she does not know what he did but is sure he did something,” a probable-cause statement says.
The boy was brought to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and doctors discovered that he had numerous bruises around his anus, a “hanger-type” bruise on his hip, and yet another bruise on his neck.
Doctors also found an object lodged in his rectum, which appears to be “a vibrator or some other sex toy.”
Police interviewed Burns, who still claimed that a teenage boy at a park did it, even though she “believes it is her vibrator,” and police found the boy’s blood on her shirt, according to court documents.
A Phoenix police spokesman said there was zero evidence that the boy was assaulted at the park.
Burns told police that she “worked hard to get her son back and would not do anything like this to hurt her son.”
Indeed, court records show that Burns was investigated for child abuse in 2011, but it doesn’t appear that criminal charges were ever filed. State records don’t show any criminal history for Burns, other than a couple of misdemeanor cases related to driving without the proper documentation.
Burns’ son needed to have surgery to get the vibrator removed, according to court documents. Police said the injuries around the boy’s anus appear to be caused by a hanger, or similar object, being used in an attempt to get the vibrator out.
At her arraignment today, Burns pleaded not guilty to the charges against her, including sexual conduct with a minor and child abuse. A judge had previously ordered that Burns be held without bond.
Her next court date is scheduled for May 23.
RZA x Will Wells “Destiny Bends (Paul Walker Tribute)”
On Saturday, we lost Fast & Furious star Paul Walker, and Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA wrote him a tribute track. RZA also had this to say below:
“This song, entitled “Destiny Bends” was written last night after hearing the tragic news of the loss of a good man named Paul Walker. I met Paul on the set of the film Brick Mansion, where we talked, laughed, and exchanged ideas of life and fatherhood. I only knew him personally for less than a year, but we knew each other through our work and art. We saw in each other a kindred spirit of men coming from unlikely circumstances, and rising to be the light and beacon of our family and loved ones. Men who learned the joy and pains of love in life, and success, while coming to realize that nothing is more important than family, friendship, and the brotherhood of humanity. Millions of people get to know an artist or movie star through their work, but few are allowed to cross each others’ paths and see through the veil of stardom and find the common denominator that we share. As all physical things will decay and wither away, film, art, and music remain longer than the vessel that delivered them. In this vein, the one thing we can’t take away or give back is time. So, thus, time is the most precious gift. I dedicated my time to compose this song with my two sons and new friend Will Wells, who was kind enough to sing and perform it for me. We dedicate it to Paul Walker. A good man. We had plans to continue working with each other in the future. It seemed destined, but “destiny bends””.
VIDEO: Pastor Says Obama Had Miriam Carey Killed To Hide Affair, Love Child
This is both hilarious and said at the same time….spotted on Black Media Scoop:
Reverend James David Manning of the Atlah World Missionary Church claims that Miriam Carey, who was shot and killed by authorities after crashing her car into the U.S. Capitol building last month, had been assassinated by President Barack Obama because she’d given birth to his illegitimate daughter.
On his radio show The Manning Report, Manning called for a paternity test of Carey’s fifteen-month-old daughter, who was in the car with Carey when she led police on a chase that ended in gunfire on the Capitol steps.
You can read more from the source, but apparently, the President has history with the slain woman after visiting the dentist’s office where she worked to fix a tooth, or something.

PICS: Outkast Reunites In Atlanta
Just leaving the old Stewart Ave. #unfuckwittable
These pics were originally spotted on Big Boi’s Instagram. While it’s good to see the two being friends (both Big Boi and Andre 3000 have stressed the importance of their friendship beyond music in various interviews), all I wanna know is: what does this mean? Will we finally get the Outkast album we’ve all been waiting for?

bomb. Flume‘s name has been on fire lately. And after listening to productions like this, there’s no arguing why. Just listen to how this beat plays out.
…The man has talent.
“What About Us” is off the recently released [Lockjaw] EP. ..Which was actually a collaborative effort between Flume and Australian vocalist Chet Faker. Both have some pretty dope past works, so this was an interesting idea. “What About Us” is my favorite of the three on the EP. Posted all three though below. Enjoy…
