Why Did Wendy Williams Diss Charlamagne Tha God?

Earlier this week, Wendy Williams was on the Elvis Duran Morning Show (above), and when the topic of Charlamagne Tha God came up, she gave a surprising response of having no idea who Charlamagne is. This comes as a huge surprise being that Wendy Williams brought Tha God into the media world in the first place, and he has pretty much been loyal to her even after they’ve moved on into their different ventures….

Or did he?

While everyone is trying to figure out what caused the apparent rift, the below excerpt was found on the website FenomLife:

Many may not know, Bethenny was once a regular guest on the top rated “Wendy Williams Show.” Once she got the green light for her very own show, she allegedly began recruiting Wendy’s staff including her talent booker, Marigo Mihalos who left Wendy high and dry.

Well, if that wasn’t enough of a stab in the back, Bethenny went for blood by featuring Wendy’s former sidekick, Charlamagne on her show. This hurt Wendy to the core considering she gave him his start he repaid her by getting in bed with her arch-enemy.

Not sure if Charlamagne was oblivious to the rift Bethenny started with Wendy when he agreed to become a regular guest on her show but he should certainly understand why she questioned his loyalty after the fact.

Whether this is in fact what caused the issue is to be seen. Stay tuned.

Kanye West restarted his Yeezus tour in Philadelphia, and got back into rant mode in the middle of performing. Two of the subjects this time? Sway (again) and (not surprised) Charlamagne.

“What the fuck did you do? What have you done with the past 10 years of your motherfucking life? Charlamagne1? Sway!? What have you done? Fuck you did? … I AM YEEZUS.”

I’d like to thank everybody that came out tonight in the snow. I really thank y’all for coming and supporting tonight.

I know y’all keep that. I appreciate that. Y’all love me no matter where we go. Y’all don’t give a fuck what happen…y’all don’t care if I have a red suit on…y’all don’t care if I have a kilt on…y’all dont’ care if I’m on a motorcycle. “Don’t say shit about Ye!” You know what I’m saying?

It’s y’all that give this the power. The whole idea behind Yeezus is “Yeez…is…us”. It’s so when y’all that be in situations when people be trying to hold y’all back, suppress y’all ideas, talk shit when you’re at work, whatever…and you just can’t say nothing.

So I just took 2013 to try and say everything that couldn’t nobody say. I got in trouble, but what’s a little trouble, you know what I mean? Everybody’s so scared of trouble.

But I’d be more afraid of not having the love of y’all. I’d be more afraid of not giving you everything that I got. I’d be more afraid of turning into one of these people inside of the system that’s so scared to do anything. To say anything. And controlled by everything. And they don’t believe in anything.

It’s like you just can’t hold on to nothing no more. You can’t believe in nothing. You can’t believe in yourself. You dont’ stand for something, you fall for everything. You don’t stand for nothing, you fall for anything.

So DJ Envy earned Donkey Of The Day for Friday, and it appeared to have opened an obvious issue between his and his wife…..that was followed by this (start it about 4 minutes in):

The Normal “Donkey of the Day” on Power1051 morning show “The Breakfast Club” took an interesting turn when Charlemagne gave Donkey of the Day to DJ Envy … who later revealed he’s been acting really weird because of problems at home with his wife. It is unclear if he is cheating but it seems he may have been caught stepping out of his marriage. He then proceeds to call up his wife live on air and apologize.
