Chris Brown Is Apparently Repping The Bloods, As Seen In His Latest Graffiti (PICS)

Plenty more pictures below. From TMZ:

Another brilliant move by Chris Brown — the singer has affiliated himself with a dangerous street gang in L.A. called the Pirus (a subset of the Bloods) … and he’s bragging about it all the way to Hawaii.

Sources tell TMZ, Brown was in Honolulu Thursday, where he hired a guide to take him and his entourage around to places where they could legally spray paint.

Keeping it “legal” was responsible, but then Brown tagged up his signature monster artwork with the phrase “Fruits Piru,” an apparent reference to the Fruit Town Piru gang … next to the phrase, “F*** police.”

Brown’s even been claiming Piru on Twitter. He’s gotten so cocky, he called out Jay Z for not letting Beyonce collaborate with him, and bragging he’s not worried about Mr. Z because he’s got Blood ties.

Chris Brown Hit With 1,000 Additional Hours Of Community Service

From TMZ:

Chris Brown just got his ass handed to him in court — the judge sentenced him to 1,000 more hours of community labor after the L.A. County D.A. accused him of fudging his records.

As we reported, the D.A. believes the singer violated his probation in the Rihanna beating case by submitting bogus community service reports — in one case even swearing he was picking up trash in Virginia when he was actually on a private jet to Cancun.

The judge revoked Chris’ probation last month in the wake of hit-and-run allegations, but reinstated it today on the condition Chris completes an additional 1,000 hours of community service.

Think of it like a do-over — because of the discrepancy in Chris’ original labor hours, the singer won’t get ANY credit for service he may or may not have completed since his conviction. Chris was originally sentenced to 180 days of community labor (1,440 hours).

Unlike last time — when the judge said Chris could complete his labor in his home state of Virginia — the judge today ordered that Chris’ service must be supervised by L.A. County officials.

Chris can choose between Caltrans (aka highway cleanup), beach cleanup, probation alternative work services (PAWS), or our personal favorite … graffiti removal.

Chris must also report to a probation officer within the next 48 hours. He did not look happy in court.

The good news … Chris’ probation will finally end in August 2014. One more year to go.

Chris Brown’s Camp Attributes Recent Seizure To ‘Emotional Stress’ From ‘Nonstop Negativity”

Boy, they know how to spin it, don’t they? From The Hollywood Reporter:

Chris Brown suffered a seizure in the early hours of Friday, Aug. 9 while working at Los Angeles recording studio the Record Plant, the singer’s rep has confirmed. He was not hospitalized.

According to a statement issued Friday night: “Chris suffered a nonepileptic seizure (NES). … His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity.”

In the hours after the seizure, the hashtag PrayForChrisBrown became a trending topic on Twitter, although details of his medical condition at first were sketchy. Several outlets reported that the 24-year-old singer refused treatment by paramedics or hospitalization.

Brown has been battling bad press for years and has also seen his share of legal problems — even as recently as this week. According to E!, Brown paid a visit to a Van Nuys, Calif. jail in connection with a May 21 hit-and-run incident during which Brown allegedly fled the scene. Brown has pleaded not guilty. He was released after an hour with no bail set.

From TMZ:

The L.A. City Fire Dept. rushed to a Hollywood recording studio early Friday morning, after getting a 911 call that Chris Brown had a seizure … TMZ has learned.

The call came from Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood at 1:09 AM. When EMTs arrived … we’re told Chris refused treatment and also refused to be transported to the hospital.

We do not know if it was indeed a seizure, but we’ve learned Chris did suffer from seizures as a child.

Chris Brown Goes Into Jail…And Leaves Out 45 Minutes Later

From TMZ:

Chris Brown pulled a fast one Monday … turning himself in at an L.A. jail for his hit-and-run case — a day ahead of schedule.

TMZ has learned … Brown showed up at the Van Nuys jail at around 2 PM. We’re told his lawyer, Mark Geragos, engineered it all and the purpose was to make it happen without any photogs present.

Brown was booked and released on his own recognizance — no bail. We’re told the whole thing took around 45 minutes.

Now here’s what’s interesting … Just a few hours earlier, there was a gaggle of photogs at the courthouse which is connected to the jail, because 50 Cent made a court appearance. When the cameras were gone, Chris appeared.

He even hit the club later that night (above). Celebrities.

Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty To Hit & Run

From TMZ:

Chris Brown just pled not guilty to the charge of hit-and-run, stemming from that minor car accident — which led to his probation getting revoked — TMZ has learned.

Since he wasn’t arrested on the day of the accident, Chris now has to go to a police station to get booked for the crime … which means he’ll have to take another mug shot. He has until August 6th to take care of that.

Chris’ next court date in the hit-and-run case is August 15.

As for his possible probation violation in the Rihanna beating case — the singer has to appear in court for a separate probation violation hearing in August.

As we reported, the judge revoked Chris’ probation in the wake of the hit-and-run charge … but he’s currently free on his own recognizance.

The remaining charges from the car accident — driving without a valid license and proof of insurance — were dismissed.

RECAP: Chris Brown’s Charity Event In Compton

Chris Brown gave out Reeboks for the second time this month (he was in Crenshaw doing the same thing a couple of weeks ago), hosting an event in Roy Campanella Park in Compton, CA that brought out community youth leaders, government officials and law enforcement alike — Trayvon Martin was not lost on the day as well. You can check out a few pics from what went down above.

Chris Brown May Be Off The Hook Over Hit & Run Case

EXCLUSIVE - Chris Brown Gets In Another Car Accident!

From TMZ:

The L.A. City Attorney’s office has just objected to the settlement between Chris and Olga because it hasn’t yet made direct contact with Olga. The City Attorney wants to make sure Olga’s on board with the deal before they sign off on it. The judge has since continued the hearing to July 23rd.

Chris Brown will NOT be prosecuted for the alleged hit-and-run in May … at least that’s the way the victim wants it.

Brown was charged with the crime after leaving the scene of a minor rear-end collision without forking over identifying information — i.e., a California driver’s license and insurance info.

We’ve learned Olga Gure-Kovalenko — the driver of the vehicle Chris hit — has no desire to have him prosecuted, so Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, has filed legal docs to have the criminal case dropped.

UPDATE: Chris Brown Charged With Hit-And-Run; Judge Revokes Probation

AP69738153402_620x350

UPDATE (Fox News):

A judge revoked Chris Brown’s probation on Monday after reviewing the details of an alleged hit-and-run accident involving the singer and his behavior afterward. However, the singer was not ordered to jail.

Brown, who came to court with a group of family members, appeared downcast as he sat with his arms across his chest and his head down on the counsel table while his lawyer and a prosecutor went to the judge’s chambers to discuss the case.

When they emerged, Superior Court Judge James Brandlin said he had read the file.
“In this matter, probation is revoked,” he said.

Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, suggested that perhaps the matter will be resolved informally without a major probation hearing. He said the hit-and-run case would be back in court in Van Nuys on July 23.

Deputy District Attorney Mary Murray did not ask for Brown to be jailed, and the judge allowed him to remain free on his own recognizance.

Another hearing is set for Aug. 16.

Above, Chris Brown responds to the charges. Below, from TMZ:

We’ve learned the L.A. City Attorney has filed 2 criminal charges against Brown, in connection with a minor accident last month where Chris rear-ended a Mercedes and allegedly refused to fork over his driver’s license number and gave bogus insurance info and then left the scene.

The City Attorney has charged Chris with hit-and-run — for leaving the scene without exchanging proper information. He’s also been charged with the crime of driving without a valid license. The crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense.

We’ve also learned the City Attorney will refer the matter to the L.A. County D.A. for a possible probation violation in the Rihanna beating case. Worst case scenario — if the judge in that case concludes Chris broke the law and thereby violated his probation, he could be sentenced to prison for 4 years.

UPDATE: Chris Brown Goes To War With Neighbors Over Monsters Mural (Pics)

karrueche-tran-party-2

For those who have been following this, it looks as if Chris Brown has lost the war and has decided to paint over his monsters (even though he says it was his choice).

Taken from the L.A. Times. You can check out the pics on the next page:

Chris Brown’s attorney is slamming neighbors who are demanding the star remove street art-style murals from his Hollywood Hills home.

Neighbors claim the monsters are scaring neighborhood kids and ruining the hillside aesthetic of the area below Lake Hollywood.

“There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to,” said Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Assn.

Responding to complaints about the monster art, L.A. city code officials cited Brown for unpermitted and excessive signage and ordered him to remove the art within 30 days. He also faces fines that start at $376 but could rise significantly if he fails to comply.

Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, said the musician is not backing down. He says it’s the neighbors who are harassing Brown.

“I’m scared of neighborhood busybodies like this,” Geragos said. “They’ve called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them.”

Geragos said the city can expect a legal fight over Brown’s personal artwork, which unwittingly thrust him into one of L.A.’s longest-running civic debates. Although the city has a reputation for being the street mural capital of the world, much of that artwork has been done illicitly.

City ordinances make it illegal to create murals on the vast majority of private properties.

“They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment,” Geragos said.
