The Indiana Pacers and the Washington Wizards kick off the second round of the Playoffs tonight in Indiana, but Lady Gaga’s show is scheduled on May 15th. If the second round series game goes to Game 6, the Lady Gaga concert will have to be rescheduled. Lady Gaga fans will not be happy if that happens…check out some of their tweets below.
Nicki Minaj recently dropped a new single featuring emcee Lil Herb, which put the spotlight on the current culture and music scene in the latter’s city of Chicago. While it’s getting a lot of credit for what sounds like a refreshed Nicki, some aren’t too pleased with the subject matter, particularly in the wake of the city’s rising death toll amongst minorities…..one of the critics happens to be none other than Lady Gaga’s producer DJ White Shadow.
You can cast your thoughts below and check out the tweets above.
Lady Gaga recently appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman to perform ‘Dope’ and ‘G.U.Y.’ from her latest album ARTPOP. She also took a selfie with Bill Murray (and Letterman) and hung with Martha Stewart backstage. Random (but not really).
Lady Gaga recently stopped by KTU 103.5 FM to promote ARTPOP, and pretty much got asked a lot of more serious questions pertaining to inflating numbers, the alleged mismanagement of charity funds (through her Born This Way Foundation) and more. Her residency at Roseland Ballroom and current single, ‘G.U.Y.‘ were also explained.
Lady Gaga will be performing seven performances at the Roseland Ballroom (ending April 7th), and the first of the set went late last week in grand fashion. Above, you can check out pics from the first show…below are a few clips of what went down.
Spotted on Design Trend, where you can read more on the story (pictures of the exhibition above):
Lady Gaga is taking over New York City for her birthday (March 28). She gave her fans an artful gift before her show tonight at the Roseland Ballroom.
As reported, the songstress opened up her “G.U.Y.” exhibition earlier this afternoon at the OUT NYC Hotel at West 42nd. The pieces will borrow props and scenes from her 11-minute video she released last weekend.
The “G.U.Y.” exhibition was revealed yesterday to the New York Post’s Page Six via a “spy” in Lady Gaga’s camp. Despite the last minute notification, the fans showed up in numbers outside The OUT NYC before the show officially opened.
Lady Gaga was recently on Sirius XM’s Hits 1 (above), where she spoke on her latest visual for the single ‘G.U.Y. (Girl Under You)’. Changing the time and the station, Akon was recently spoke on Shade45’s Sway In The Morning, where he got fairly candid about how he and Lady Gaga’s relationship ended (he claims that he simply cashed out at the point where he felt she had peaked). Check that interview out below.
Another single from ARTPOP gets the visual treatment, presumably in the hopes that the new video will help push album sales. Check it out above.
During Lady Gaga’s SXSW show last night in Austin, TX, she allowed one of her fans in the crowd to vomit….on her. For art. I wonder what Lady Gaga will do next.
There was tremendous demand for @ladygaga and all tickets have now gone. We apologise to fans who were unable to get tickets.

I'm so excited!!!! The Chinese Government Approved ARTPOP to be released in China with all 15 songs! Next I hope I can come to perform!

From NME:
Lady Gaga’s music is no longer banned in China.
The singer, along with Katy Perry, Beyonce, Take That and a group of other artists, had songs banned by the Chinese government in 2011 after they were deemed vulgar by the Chinese Ministry Of Culture and placed on a ‘poor taste’ blacklist. Around 100 songs ended up on the list in total.
The decision has been reversed, however, with Gaga’s latest album ‘Artpop’, in its original state, now approved for release. The singer tweeted to express her delight.
When the ban initially came in, music sites were given around three weeks to remove the offending tracks which officials say harmed “national cultural security.” Gaga had six tracks banned, including ‘Marry The Night’ and ‘Edge Of Glory’, while Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It That Way’, on sale for around 10 years before the ruling, was also banned.
Prior to this announcement, Gaga claimed she had been “betrayed” and “mismanaged” by the people around her, resulting in the delays and problems she faced with ‘Artpop’.
Lady Gaga drops another remix to her single ‘Do What You Want‘ (the first remix featured Rick Ross), this time getting Christina Aguilera to jump on the song (they showcased this collaboration on The Voice in December). The new blend is out now on iTunes….you can also check out

The whole point of the video was basically her recieving Billboard Woman of the Year nods, and speaking about it on the red carpet. The fun starts at about the 1:15 mark.

Lady Gaga revealed on the Elvis Duran radio show in November 2013 that she’s been quietly battling an addiction to marijuana. “I had to stop (smoking pot),” the Mother Monster said. “I was addicted to it. … Although I think it’s the best drug to choose from when you’re playing around and experimenting, I just want young kids to know that you actually can become addicted to it, and it’s ultimately … a form of self-medication. I was smoking 15-20 marijuana cigarettes a day with no tobacco.”
