Oh man, have I been sleeping on this Maryland-based producer for a while. b.east just dropped another album a few days ago and its filled with jazzy and funky beats, vocal snippets and hard-hitting drums. I don’t know if I’m the first to make comparisons to fellow area producer Oddisee but regardless, one thing that makes these two some similar is you can hear some soul in their music, not just repetition.
