The artwork was bad enough; this teaser completely freaks me out, One Missed Call-style. Sheesh.

Wasn’t this the diss to Angel Haze? I thought they squashed that? Jeez.
Angel Haze – FUSE Interview; Seemingly Squashes Beef With Azealia Banks (SXSW)
At SXSW 2013, Angel Haze gives us an update on the status of her album “Dirty Gold,” talks about her love of Jason Mraz and the TV show “Girls,” and discusses her recent Twitter beefs.
During the above interview, Angel Haze said this about her ‘former foe’:
I’m a 20-year-old girl and sometimes I get a little aggy at other girls who kind of, like, throw a little shade here and there like, as far as I’m concerned, it’s totally over,” Haze said in an interview when asked about Twitter feuding. “I don’t really care about it and I wish her the utmost success and it just shouldn’t have happened on such a public platform, so that’s all I regret.
Azealia Banks has already responded to the interview on Twitter, saying:
@angelhaze thanks for being nice in ur interview beotch. I know you don’t hate me ;).
Azealia Banks – Yung Rapunxel
I think I get the Rapunzel reference: in the track, you can hear the soft chant “I want to be free”. Anyway, she’s finally freed some music instead of us hearing another news story about who did doesn’t like…..and to me, it’s kind of underwhelming. The positive is that it’s probably the kind of track that will turn an arena on it’s head during a performance. Produced by Lil’ Internet.
What are your thoughts on the record (Elliott Wilson voice)?

One Missed Call inspired? Welp, that ends any chance of me not having nightmares this evening. This artwork is more bad dream inducing than mushrooms and acid.
Iggy Azalea & Azealia Banks Return To Throwing Shots At Eachother
In the latest episode of the Azealia’s/Azalea’s:
Iggy released a song called ‘D.R.U.G.S.‘ some time ago, and in the song she had a lyric where she called herself a “runaway slave….master”. Azealia Banks had since spoke on the matter in true Azealia Banks form, saying that she “seriously trivialised aspects of black culture” with said lyric. Now, in a recent interview in some magazine called Shut Your Pretty Mouth, she responded directly:
“She says that **** about ****ing anything. She called Perez Hilton a ******, I think she trivialised gay culture… ****ing whatever. She’s biased about everybody and everything, even towards the people who help her. She even talked **** about the fashion industry after they basically gave her a career. I don’t think anything about that girl man, she ****ing talks **** out of her arse and that’s her business.”
Of course, it doesn’t take long for Azealia Banks to respond, either:
Can these two stop and put out a complete project already (not counting mixtapes or EPs)?
Azealia Banks – Barely Legal
Something new from Azealia, in you consider refixing The Stroke’s song of the same name new. Produced by Lindbergh Palace.
Azealia Banks (@AZEALIABANKS) – Harlem Shake (Video)
The visual to the remix that pissed everybody off (again). On another note, I want to f*** the s*** out of Azealia Banks.
Azealia Banks Gets Into Twitter Beef With Baauer; Revives Beef With Perez Hilton Over Gay Slur Use
So, Azaalia Banks (along with a few other folks) decided to get on Baauer’s ‘Harlem Shake’ for their own remix….not sure about the others, but Baauer then had soundcloud remove Bank’s version, which then set off some tweets:
Of course, her return to using that touchy F-word hit Perez Hilton’s radar (again)…
…and his fans…
How does she keep getting in this mess?
Azealia Banks – Harlem Shake (Remix)
I’ve been avoiding all the ‘Harlem Shake‘ spinoffs, but Azealia Banks handles Baauer’s growing hit pretty effortlessly. Check it out below.
@AZEALIABANKS/@AngelHaze Twitter Beef Continues; @PerezHilton Gets Into The Mix
As far as the Banks/Haze Twitter back-and-forth, you can go to their pages for that (their names are in the header)…..what is noteworthy is that Perez Hilton has jumped in, siding with Haze (you can check those Tweets too), and in one swift potentially career-ending move, the below happened:
@perezhilton omg u should just kill yourself… Like for real.
— YUNG RAPUNXEL (@AZEALIABANKS) January 5, 2013
@azealiabanks Sweetie, you’re not ignorant. You know you shouldn’t call me the F word. That AND wishing I die? You hoping I get AIDS next?
— Perez Hilton (@PerezHilton) January 5, 2013
Banks later tried to address the use of the slur (more than likely because it created a backlash), but the truth remains that you really have to know by now what that can do to your reputation. Smooth move.
Angel Haze (@AngelHaze) – Shut The Fuck Up (@AzealiaBanks Diss)
Welp, keep the party going. Haze is definitely showing that she’s not really one to be messed with in the battlefield. Your move, Banks.
@AzealiaBanks – No Problems (@AngelHaze Diss)
Well…be careful what you wish for, right? Azealia Banks goes in on her response to Angel Haze’s record, and now we have a rumble. Stay tuned.
@AZEALIABANKS Responds To @AngelHaze Diss
Ok….but where’s the response on wax? Is your only response to that scathing diss…..is that it was pre-emptive?
So diplo just calls me and tells me she wrote that track months ago and he had nothing to do with it.
— YUNG RAPUNXEL (@AZEALIABANKS) January 4, 2013
@AngelHaze – On The Edge (@AZEALIABANKS Diss)
Wow, Angel Haze wasted NO time in sending a shot in Azealia’s direction. This artwork is pretty hilarious, by the way.
TWITTER BEEF: @AngelHaze & @AZEALIABANKS
Why is it that when the population of female emcees increase, they start going at it against each other? There’s plenty of room for everybody! Anyway, usual suspect Azealia Banks decided to get into it with rising star Angel Haze. Most of the tweet have probably been deleted by now:
