Lil Durk Sends A Shot At Tyga; Speaks On Diss With XXL

A few days ago, Lil Durk released an Instagram clip teasing his ‘Chi-Raq’ freestyle record with Meek Mill; in the clip, he also sends a direct shot in Tyga’s direction.

Recently, Lil Durk caught up with XXL to explain the diss…you can read an excerpt from the interview below:

XXL: I saw the preview to the “Chi-Raq” remix, and heard the Tyga diss. What happened there?
Lil Durk: The song with me, Chris Brown and French Montana, I had said a line in there, a line about Blac Chyna. It wasn’t a diss, it was just a line, like, I want her and shit. It wasn’t no diss. When we was in L.A.—me, Tyga and Chris Brown, when we first did the hook—Tyga came in and heard the line, [and] he felt some type of way. It was tension since then. Chris Brown had played it back to him. It was tension. [Tyga] was like, “Man, just change it,” and I was like, “No doubt, I’m going to change it once we get something in, I fuck with you.” He said he fucks with me and he’s been texting me since I left L.A., like, “I’m going to send you something, you going to send me something, etc.” Then he stop replying and shit, and I felt some type of way and said, fuck it then, I’m not going to kiss his ass.

What did Tyga ask, specifically? To remove the reference completely?
He asked me to shout his name out on it. So I said I’ll do it, and he said we’re going to get some work in. I think he just told me that so I could just change it and I caught on to what he was doing, so I turned up on him.

How upset was he when he heard the line?
When he first heard it he was like, “Man, Goddamn, what you say though?” So I told him the rhyme, and said this ain’t no disrespect, that’s a complement, actually. He was like, iight, at least shout me out. Chris Brown was laughing. I was just like, it’s all good. He was like, it just sound like a little disrespectful, just shout me out. So I said, cool, we’re going to work.

Tyga’s Tiger Gets Taken By Wildlife Authorities

From TMZ:

Tyga’s pet tiger has just been ripped from his clutches — after authorities claimed the rapper was illegally in possession of the exotic animal … and now Tyga could face criminal charges.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, California Wildlife officers received a report last week that a tiger was housed at Tyga’s home in Ventura County.

We’re told a warden responded to the home — and Tyga told him he had removed the cat from the house (presumably due to complaints) and placed it at a private animal shelter.

It’s unclear how long Tyga’s had the cat — but he began posting photos of the tiger on Instagram last month.

According to law enforcement, Wildlife officers picked up the 7-month-old cat at the shelter and transferred it to a state facility for safekeeping … while they investigate.

We’re told Tyga could face misdemeanor charges of possession of a prohibited species … punishable by up to six months in jail.

Worth noting, we’re told Tyga took good care of the tiger. Sources close to Tyga tell us, the rapper didn’t realize it was illegal to own … and as soon as he realized, he gave it to a sanctuary.

YG Claims That He Wasn’t Dissing Tyga & Problem In Recent Freestyle

Recently, YG spit some bars in a freestyle on Hot 97 (for Funkmaster Flex) that seem to be directed toward West Coast peers Tyga & Problem (who some say have been jacking the DJ Mustard/YG formula). In a recent interview with MTV, he pleads the fifth:

“Look man, I was rappin’ on that freestyle, you feel me? I ain’t say nobody names, I don’t know where names came from,” YG told MTV News on Tuesday, clapping his hands with every other syllable to accentuate his words. “But if somebody, whoever feel like I was talkin’ to ’em, fo’ sho. If you don’t fo’ sho. That’s all about that.”
