Young Scooter & Gucci Mane Are Cellmates In Atlanta Jail

MTV RapFix reports:

Both Gucci Mane and Young Scooter are currently being housed in the Georgia lock-up, but RapFix has learned that the two collaborators are actual cellmates.

Gucci was booked on April 12 on a probation violation. The arrest came right after he was indicted on aggravated assault charges and freed on a $75,000 bond, which came after a U.S. army soldier accused the rapper of hitting him the head with a champagne bottle. Young Scooter, Gucci’s Free Bricks 2 mixtape partner-in-rhyme, was booked on a few days earlier on April 8th and also charged with a probation violation. Now a source with connections to both artists tells us that the two rappers aren’t just in the same jail, but they are currently living in the same cell.

That cannot be a coincidence.  In other news, Scooter was sentenced to 8 months today for a probation violation.

Young Scooter Locked Up For Probation Violation

UPDATE: Gucci Mane was apparently Scooter’s cell mate until yesterday.  On the 22nd, Young Scooter was sentenced to 8 months for violating his probation.

ATL’s Freebandz/Brick Squad Affiliate Young Scooter AKA Kenneth Edward Bailey was pulled over Monday, April 8th for driving with a suspended license, and then arrested for violating his probation, only a week after Gucci Mane was jailed for assault charges. The offense that got Scooter on probation in the first place dates back to early 2012. A link to the Atlanta rapper’s mugshot and previous mugshots can be found here. Scooter is no stranger to law trouble, with arrests dating back until at least 2009. Hopefully the rapper can get out soon.
