Well, at 2pm (give or take), Wale did as he promised and released a YouTube clip showing revealing that on 8/3rd he will be releasing ‘More About Nothing’, the follow-up to 2008’s critically acclaimed ‘Mixtape About Nothing’. In addition to the great news he also released a song not from the project, titled ‘Workin’ (produced by Uk’s Yogi)…you can find the link below. Enjoy.
I didn’t even know they had beef…this is the same Compton Ass Terry from Viva La Bam, right? Remember when Terry Kennedy was beefing with Bow Wow over Angela Simmons? Yea, me neither (but he sure can remind you in the below video, ha)…
P.S. those Supra TK kicks are pretty fly, though…eh.
Wow. Looks like the Washington Post checked those facts out. From The Huffington Post:
Mary J. Blige may be headed back to college. But maybe not.
In an interview with the New Orleans Time-Picayune about the release of her new perfume, Blige offered this tidbit of information: “For the record, I just received my high school diploma yesterday (Monday). The city of New York gave me my high school diploma … and now Howard University has accepted me.”
But when the Washington Post followed up with Howard University, there was some confusion:
The news seemed to catch Howard, the nation’s premier historically black university, by surprise. Early Tuesday, a rep for the school declined to address Blige’s prospects at the school, noting that information about applicants and admissions is confidential. By late in the day, the university put out a statement suggesting Blige’s comments may have been somewhat premature.
The school said: “We encourage Ms. Blige to continue her studies and welcome her consideration of Howard University in the future. We are happy to work with Ms. Blige on completing the formal process for admission.”
The Post also claims that Blige told of her college cred to web videographers after an appearance on “Good Morning America,” but film evidence of this has since been taken down [Note: looks like the footage is all there to me].
From Nah Right:
Jadakiss, Uncle Murda, Brisco, Chip Tha Ripper, Mikey Rocks and Nipsey Hussle lay down their verses representing their respective cities (New York, Brooklyn, Miami, Cleveland, Chicago and Nip holding down the West Coast) that Lebron might go to for “I Am The Man†off The Choice Is Yours mini-mixtape hosted by Don Cannon and presented by Vitamin Water.

I guess his popularity is starting to affect him adversely…can’t be too mad at the reasons… ::shrug::
From NY Daily News:
ABC decided not to book the 23-year-old Canadian rapper for a July 16 show in Central Park after the NYPD told the city Parks Department that Parks’ security plan wasn’t up to snuff, Parks and police sources said.
If you can recall (which should also bring you better understanding on the issue), he tried to throw another outside concert at the South Street Seaport, which was abruptly canceled after 25,000 unruly fans who showed up to hear the rap phenom tossed chairs, bottles and flowerpots. Go figure.
If I can put up a post of 50’s ‘anti-Diddy’ petition‘, it’s only fair I show that Rick Ross is selling shirts based off of his hit ‘B.M.F.’ single. You can get them at his Blowing Money Fast website.

Both of these artists are absolutely grinding right now…I’m glad to see both Yelawolf continue his rise in hip-hop and Gucci Mane spreading out his collaborations with so many different artists (such as Talib Kweli). Check out these pictures, courtesy of Karen Civil (if you couldn’t already tell by the name of the pics themselves).
