Chiddy Bang x Jim Jones – Opposite Of Adults (Remix)
Didn’t expect this. Now all we need is Lil’ Kim…
It’s deeper than catered food. Here’s a first look inside Kanye’s next video as the paper of record interviewed the man behind it, Marco Brambilla. Here’s a tease as we patiently wait.
In a coming video for his single “Power†that was created by the artist Marco Brambilla, Mr. West is seen standing imposingly with a heavy chain around his neck. As Mr. West raps the camera slowly zooms out in one continuous, unedited take to reveal him in a classical structure, surrounded by female attendants who are partly or entirely nude; some kneel before him on all fours, others wear devil horns and still others are suspended upside down from the ceiling. The Sword of Damocles hangs precariously over Mr. West’s head, and behind him an unseen executioner is preparing to strike him with a blade. (ArtsBeat was allowed to watch a portion of this video but was not permitted to post it.)
I also got the inside scoop on the upcoming remix and all I can say is, “Rumble young man rumbleâ€. Shh!
Juelz? Dipset? Now I’m geeking.
So, this Frech DJ decides to get busy with his own mix of (seem like) all of Reggie Noble greatest hits. This is definitely worth a listen if you’re a Redman fan. Tracklist and download link after the jump.

Another clip and a breakdown on Aliya S. King after the jump.
From TeamYeeTV:
Author Aliya S King came by “The Morning After†and gave us some juicy behind-the-scenes stories from the journalism world. If you don’t know who she is, she’s the woman who co-authored Faith Evan’s “Keep the Faith†and Frank Lucas’ memoirs “Original Gangster,†and is working on Tashera Simmons’ book, as well as Timbaland’s memoirs. In addition, she has a proposal out to Mashonda so maybe you’ll be reading that whole saga soon!
Right now though, Aliya has her fictional novel “Platinum†in stores, with the sequel already scheduled to drop August 11, 2011. “Platinum†was an idea she came up with after writing an article for Vibe Magazine entitled “The Secret Lives of Rappers Wives,†where she researched and interviewed the wives of rappers, including Ja Rule, Wyclef, Snoop, and DMX. You have to read this book and see if you can figure out who the characters are based on!
Aliya discusses how difficult it was to work with Frank Lucas and how much she loves Faith Evans. She talks about a situation with Eve when she first started at The Source 10 years ago where they almost had an altercation and had to be held back from each other.
Aliya also gave some insight into what DMX’s wife, Tashera’s book will be about. Apparently he has several kids outside of his marriage and currently has a 1 and 2 year old in Miami.
New (tagged) track from Kid CuDi! Off the upcoming album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager which comes out 10/26.
Yea. Even disses Slick ‘Em. This is also the same interview where he speaks on a positive alternative to B.M.F. I need to get rich.
Illseed stated on his AllHipHop Rumors page that this may have been done by Dwele. Can’t wait to see the official one.
With a 40 appearance. Google Nardwuar (I even have a search bar at the top of the page for you), his interviews are usually pretty interesting, to say the least.
Just a question: are our peers shooting high enough? Charlie Mack? This is success?
Interesting concept. Check the press release and tracklisting after the jump.
After amassing only 4 verses over the CunninLynguists’ last four releases, the Atlanta-based artist is set to step out from behind the boards on Death Is Silent, both producing the entirety of the record and handling the majority of the vocals. The record’s concept involves the inevitability of death and its impact on love, life, family and friends. The artwork was realized by Argentinian visual artist Diego Fernandez.
Kno will still see plenty of activity on the production side of things, as the next 6 months will see the release of Oneirology, CunninLynguists’ newest studio album in 3 years, Chico and The Man, the long-awaited concept album with fellow QN5 Music artist and longtime friend Tonedeff as well as MacheteVision, a joint project with emcee Marq Spekt.
While all of these releases will be produced entirely by Kno, his production will also be featured on upcoming projects by Freddie Gibbs, 9th Wonder signee Tom Hardy as well as the album Niggaz With Latitude, a group project from CL’s own Deacon The Villain and Sheisty Khrist.
