The Carter IV Pushed Back To June

Was it because of the tracklisting leak? Rap Dose doesn’t think so…
Baring no relation to the rumored tracklist that hit the ‘net earlier, Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV has been pushed back to the month of June, indefinitely. The cause(s) of it being pushed back is uncertain. But as it was previously mentioned, the tracklist floating around is not an agent, for the change of the release date was decided prior to the tracklist being reveal.
Also, the tentative tracklist may not be entirely valid. One of Weezy’s go-to producers shed some light on its authenticity.
“Wayne and I did a few records together, but none of the track names in the tracklist look familiar.”
How long will we be forced to wait for the fourth installment of Weezy’s Tha Carter series? It is unknown, but we can only hope the project will be worth the time we’ve spent anticipating it’s release.

Pensado’s Place – Mike Dean

You might as well look at this as short of a video podcast, cause it’s about 50 minutes long:

In the 14th episode of Pensado’s Place, Kanye West’s engineer Mike Dean joins Dave and Herb to talk about his career, pioneering the “Dirty South” sound, and working with Kanye west on all of his albums! Dave and Mike then take viewer questions from the chatroom and facebook in “The Corner Office”, followed by this week’s “Batter’s Box”, where Mike answers Dave’s rapid-fire questions regarding the gear he uses. This week’s “Into The Lair” is at the end of the show, and is a continuation from last week’s where Dave gives four distinct examples of how to clear out the middle and get wider mixes!
