Kanye West and Jay-Z hit Chris Rock‘s Broadway show, “The Motherf * * ker With the Hat,” over the weekend. The rap icons, who later went backstage to chill with Rock, were just two of the notable names scrambling to see the show in advance of Sunday’s Tony Awards, where “Hat” wears six nominations. Spike Lee, Edward Norton, Paul Haggis and Dick Cavett were also spotted in the audience. One observer said that the lineup of luxury cars waiting for stars in front of the the ater was “mother[bleep]ing crazy.

When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat.
