Miss Special Interviews Dom Kennedy

Thursday night, Miss Special talked to Dom Kennedy before his show in San Francisco at
Slim’s. They spoke about the release of his debut album “From The Westside With Love
II” as far as his favorite songs, the idea behind the cover art and
the comparison between mixtapes and albums. We also spoke about the ideas behind his songs
“Choose Up” and “When You See Love”, as well as him releasing physical
copies of the album in September with DVD’s featuring videos to every song.

The Heineken Red Star tour rolled into the District thursday night. On the bill were Good Music artists and XXL freshman 2011 Cyhi the Prynce and Local Legend Pusha T of the Clipse. CyHi just release the critically acclaimed “Royal flush 2” and Pusha had just released “Fear of God” Mixtape They perform their hits including Sideways (CyHi) and Grinding (Pusha T) the event was hosted by artist and Actress Adrienne Bailon. Guest had a chance to check out art by Heineken and drinks including Heineken dark, Premium light and Regular Heineken.
