N.O.R.E. On Capone: “Right Now The Friendship Is In Danger”

 

N.O.R.E. made a visit to Good*Fella Media to promote his current single “Finito” and the upcoming S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G. album. During the conversation N.O. speaks on reuniting with Pharrell while creating the single and fixing their relationship. He also speaks on the reason for the breakup with C-N-N and his current status with Capone. As N.O.R.E. explains, he called Capone to support him for a recent show in Queensbridge and when the time came around he never showed up with no explanation.

During last night’s celebration of the Blu-Ray release of Scarface, the film’s co-star, Steven Bauer interrupted Luda’s interview with MTV, to show some love to the rapper.

“You know what? You’re responsible. You and everybody that came before you brought ‘Scarface’ to [the] mainstream,” Bauer told Luda after exchanging pleasantries. “We were dead in the water, we were forgotten and we were lepers.We were all living vicariously through your characters,” ‘Cris told Bauer of the flick’s hip-hop appeal. “As the whole rap community, we definitely support.”

Al Pacino On Rap’s Love For Scarface

MTV caught up with actor Al Pacino on the red carpet for the Blu-Ray release of Scarface. Al thanked and credited the hip-hop community for the popularity of the film.

“The hip-hop people and the rappers got together and they made a video and they talked about the movie. I don’t think anybody’s ever talked about it as articulately and clearly. I understood it better having heard them talk about it. I mean, they really get it and they understand it, and that’s a great thing. They’ve been very supportive all these years. I think they’ve helped us tremendously.”

Lil Wayne Addresses “It’s Good” Diss

Last night,Lil Wayne’s “It’s Good” hit the ‘net, VIBE got a quote from Lil Wayne about his jab toward Jay-Z.

 â€œI know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It ‘s Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.”
