New York Daily News published an interview with Jay-Z yesterday, the topic of the interview was the Occupy Wall Street movement. One of the richest rappers, Sean Carter mentioned music mogul Russell Simmons and his support for the movement (don’t forget when Simmons showed up at Occupy with Kanye last year.) He expressed confusion regarding what the movement was actually about, “I don’t know what the fight is about. What do we want? Do you know?†he said. “Yeah, (its) the 1 percent that’s robbing people, and deceiving people, these fixed mortgages and all these things, and then taking their home away from them, that’s criminal, that’s bad…Not being an entrepreneur. This is free enterprise. This is what America is built on.â€
