Nitty Scott, MC (@NittyScottMC) – Planes, Trains & Automobiles (Video)

Nitty Scott travels to my second home and Oslo in her latest visual “Planes, Trains & Automobiles”….off of The Boombox Diaries Vol. 1 EP.

Today I realized that there’s really nothing glamorous about jet lag and Airborne for breakfast. Or forgetting your foreign outlet converter. Or a bed that’s not really yours. But somewhere in-between highways, I still felt the freedom in all of it. On the road, it’s like everywhere is different, but exactly the same. They don’t all speak English, but they do speak hip-hop. So today I’ll settle in, and tomorrow, I’ll pack, all because of my music. I’m sure I’ll meet a lot of people along the way, even myself.

Pusha T (@PUSHA_T) – Puna Interview (@PunaBlog)

Since his move to Kanye’s GOOD Music label, Pusha T’s solo career has recieved a big boost. Not only has he been on plenty of track in the last years, he further solidified his status by appearing with his cohorts on the Cruel Summer project.

Now, he is currently working on his solo debut, with his first single ‘Pain‘ (featuring Future and produced by Kanye & No I.D.) already heating up the streets.

While in Amsterdam, he stopped by Paradiso to speak to Hip-Hop entity Puna about his career thus far.

Saskilla (@Saskilla) & Jamkay (@Jamkay1) Feat. @LovelleOfficial – King Tut (Video)

Another dope song and visual from the duo Saskilla & Jamkay, this time bringing Lovelle Hill with them to Paris:

Shot in the beautiful city of Paris, Tutankhamun, or better known as King Tut, is an 18th dynasty pharaoh who inherited the throne at a young age. Sas and Jam compare their recent position at the top of the UK urban viral game to his reign and explain how to stay on top…

Alicia Keys (@AliciaKeys) – Brand New Me

Check out this fresh new track from Alicia Keys that will be appearing on her upcoming Girl On Fire album, due November 27th. She even spoke about the tune in a previous interview:

‘Brand New Me’ is about the journey it takes to get to a place where you are proud to be a new you,There is nothing wrong with growing. There may be people in your life that knew you for a long time and they think of you only as the person you used to be and not the person you now are. And this song is a conversation introducing them to the new you, where nothing can hold you back and no one can hold you down.

#SpaceghostPurrp Arrested In Miami After Run-In With @ASAPMob

The story seems to be the same anywhere, two camps of black people, both are in music, beefing with each other….and the second one group enters the hometown of another group, it turns into a ‘When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong’ episode.

During an ASAP Rocky, Danny Brown and ScHoolboy Q show at the Fillmore in Florida, fans and members of Purrp’s Raider Klan kept insulting the artists. Nonetheless, the show went on without incident; following the show, 30 members of the Raider Klan reportedly appeared outside ASAP Mob‘s tour bus, setting off a fight. Someone shot a gun (in the air, according to Schoolboy Q), and Spaceghost Purrp ended up being arrested.

More on this as the story develops.

@RasKass Feat. @ProVerbMusic & @KendrickLamar – Focus

Once again, Kendrick Lamar obliterates everyone on a track (even one of my all time favorites in Ras Kass, who hasn’t really wowed me with his lyrical ability since the ill-fated Van Gogh/Goldyn Chyld projects) over a fairly mundane production. From his Barmageddon mixtape.

Rappers Rob Maryland Studio….After Recording a Song There

So you mean to tell me that these niggers (yes, NIGGERS) recorded a song in a studio only to come right back and rob them? Were they wearing masks during the recording? Maybe they did this because they knew the song would now gain attention…..as evidence. By the way, if you want to hear that horrible ass song (I ain’t posting that shit here) you can find it at the source….from NBC:

Laurel police are looking for a pair of rappers who allegedly robbed a recording studio after a session.

About 1 a.m. Thursday, two men dropped by Copy Catz to lay down “Larry Hoover” – dedicated to famous Chicago gangster King Larry.

When the rap was wrapped, the rappers left the studio and walked out of the building while everybody else got ready to leave, but the rappers quickly returned – with guns. They ordered everyone to sit on the sofa and started demanding valuables.

“Our priority is to make a safe environment for artists,” said Copy Catz General Manager Carlos Garcia, who was not at the studio at the time. “That’s our No. 1 priority, and we didn’t do it this time and we just have to make sure protocols are followed. Staff that can’t follow protocols can’t be staff anymore.”
