Iggy Azalea lets go of the visual to her new single, directed by Jonas & Francois. Could this year be the year for her to blow? Probably not, but we hope so.
J. Cole & Chilli (Of TLC) In The Studio
Ay, man….I hope Jermaine tried his hand with that. You know they’re geekin’ in Atlanta (for some reason that I’ll stay politically correct on). In related news, hope to hear an outcome from the studio session with these two soon.

Jadakiss calls into Shade 45 and speaks on B.I.G. searching to kill DJ Clue, as well as if B.I.G. would respect skinny jeans and if these new rappers be out if he was still alive.
The Round Up: Busta Rhymes (Part 1 & 2)
Shaheem Reid scores himself a new interview series with Life+Times, and his first guest in Busa Buss:
In the premiere episode of the The Round Up, host Shaheem Reid presents an in-depth interview with Busta Rhymes. Busta speaks on being a recording artist for the past 20 years, working with artists from Diddy to Q-Tip and how he’s seen the music industry evolve.
Trinidad James – Gold Gang Chronicles: Buku Fest
Some footage of Trinidad James performing at the Buku Festival in New Orleans. Still playing that song past its death.
Wyclef Jean Feat. Haitian Fresh – Love Sosa Freestyle
Unfortunately, I don’t understand the language on this track (I can definitely vibe to Young Chop’s production though). Truth be told, April Showers might be a harder mixtape than we think.
A$AP Ferg – 40 Below (Video)
A$AP Ferg drops a very sick track with a visual courtesy of DJ Whoo Kid and Shade 45. The track — which sounds an awful lot like a classic Biggie record — is featured on the Flatfitty SXSW mixtape.
Jaykae (@jaykae_invasion) – Scene Smasher Freestyle (Part 2)
Jaykae returns to P110’s Scene Smasher series to obliterate JG’s ‘Stand Down Revenge’.

The latest from 9th Wonder & Murs’ The Final Adventure.
Raekwon Feat. JD Era – Whatever Baby
New (at least for us, apparently a shortened version of this song was previously released) shit from Raekwon and his partner JD Era. Excellent choice for album artwork, by the way.
Produced by Roads-Art.
[audio:https://jukeboxdc.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Raekwon-Whatever-Baby.mp3]Rugrat (@RugratW10) – Mula (Video)
Rugrat waxes poetic on the root off all evil over a dark Young Chop instrumental.
Rihanna Cancels Baltimore Stop Of World Tour
First Boston, and now Baltimore: unfortunately, Rihanna has had to cancel Tuesday’s leg of her world tour. It was previously stated that the cause was laryngitis, and now they’re adding the flu.

Lil’ Kim Blasts Wendy Williams Over Pic She Claimed Was Photoshopped
We reported earlier about some pictures that the grossly self-deformed Queen Bee wasn’t happy about, and Wendy Williams spoke on the same thing (above). Lil’ Kim has since responded through Twitter, claiming that Wendy Williams actually had an ‘encounter’ of sorts with the late Biggie Smalls:
Let’s not forget Wendy’s roots….she’s a shock jock at heart, and I wouldn’t mind seeing her take it back.
Notorious B.I.G. Is Back (Along With His Kids) In The Form Of A New Animated Series
As reported by MTV:
“House of Wallace,” presented by Ossian Media, will star Biggie’s two children — 16-year-old C.J. Wallace and 19-year-old T’yanna Wallace — as they work to save their father’s recording studio in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, from corporate doom.
In the animated series, Biggie himself will make brief appearances as a ghost who helps to inspire the kids and keep them motivated on their quest to preserve a true piece of hip-hop culture. With his guidance they hatch up the brilliant plan to make the studio a “jingle house by day” — allowing artists to lend their star power to big brands — while still allowing it to remain as a powerhouse for musical creativity by night.
“It’s been 16 years since our Dad was murdered and we miss him dearly. It is such an honor for us to be able to carry on his legacy, not only through his music but also by channeling him through our own creativity,” C.J. and T’yanna explained in a press release. “This project, ‘House Of Wallace,’ is a great opportunity for us to bridge the gap between our parents, who loved his music, and the kids and young adults our ages that were not around to really appreciate it.”
C.J. and T’yanna will voice their own characters on the show and they’ll have plenty of guest appearances from talented artists who will create original songs for the program. And, of course, expect some of Biggie’s classic hits to get an updated spin on the animated series.
