From Fox 5 (in wherever….too lazy to check):

50 Cent is a hip hop superstar and a successful entrepreneur. Now he is hoping for a knockout in the ring.

“Me, I just love the sport so it’s exciting to be a part of it,” 50 Cent said.

This was no video shoot at the Judah Brothers gym in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

The punches were real. 50 Cent watched closely as the trainers put the boxers he’s now promoting through their paces. At one point he couldn’t resist jumping into the ring.

“I’m aware of fighters because I travel so much,” he said. “When I was in Australia, Billy is the one.”

Billy “The Kid” Dib is training hard. He’ll defend his IBF featherweight title Friday night at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods casino in Connecticut under the banner of SMS Promotions, which is 50’s boxing management company and his latest venture.

“He knows we’re going to go out and do the business,” Dib said. “We’ve got a great training team. We just have to go out and make sure we secure the victory for SMS Promotions.”

50 Cent is now a licensed boxing promoter and says the connection between the sport and hip hop music is strong. He even plans to sing a song as his boxer comes into the ring at the Friday night fight.

“The music’s playing when the training is there to take away from how tough it is, the discipline, and even the running, the roadwork, the music is playing,” he says.

Who would be the one other hip hop star, he’d get into the ring with?

“Flo Rida would be the toughest guy to fight because he trains that way,” he says. “It would be real entertaining. We need to get pay per view going right now. Let me call Flo Rida, let’s see what we can do!”

50 Cent is hoping that by bringing some flavor to the world of boxing, he’ll introduce the sport to a whole new generation.

Boost Mobile’s ‘Be Heard Sessions’ With Pusha T

In this episode, G.O.O.D. Music Recording Artist Pusha T tells the story about how he got into music because of his older brother/partner Malice. Who was always into Hip-Hop. He tells how his brother was rapping with Timbaland in middle school and how they ran into Pharrell Williams. With him being in the environment of these people writing and recording songs. He decided to join in and he wrote his first rap song titled “Thief Of The Night”. He says this became the start of the hip hop duo “Clipse”.

Pusha also says the biggest part of being an artist for him, is seeing the crowd and the fans react to what he puts out in the market place.

Quote: “When I hear the term “Be Heard”, its just about having a voice. It’s about letting your thoughts and your opinions and your feelings be on display. You really open yourself up to scrutiny and everything else, but you know. You get to give the people what you want them to hear.” – Pusha T

Watch him end the session with an “off the dome” freestyle.

Keri Hilson Spazzes On Twitter

In response to everyone trying to get her to publicly beef with Beyonce (too many news stories to name, which really says something), Keri Hilson took to Twitter to address her frustration:

“It’s TOO much!! Please! Is everything I tweet gonna be ‘intentionally misinterpreted’ as a statement abt someone/drama I know nothing about?,” she tweeted.

“You have no idea what your hateful words could do to someone’s spirit. Years of verbal abuse from strangers all day long. Enough is enough!” she added. “I’m here for MY FANS! I’m stronger than you imagine, but waking up/goin to bed to your ugliness is just TOO MUCH.”

“As far as WHATEVER ur really mad about, I had my reasons. It’s been yrs! Just chalk it up to your ignorance of my reality and LET…IT…GO.,” Hilson went on. “As for my mistakes, God has dealt with me.”

“I’m at peace. I’m fine. I’m fulfilled. Truly happy. Grateful. Ready. Stepping back in. The best is yet to come…..don’t balee me juh watch!”

Mack Maine – Bread Over Bed Freestyle

Mack Maine shows the world the true essence of freestyling when he builds a song from scratch in the comfort setting of a first class studio in Los Angeles. With his new project available now for download (Freestyle 102), Mack Maine exhibits how he never writes any lyrics or words for the project. Instead of the normal pen & pad that helps artists put words together, Mack uses spontaneous inspiration while the engineer records his vocals.Welcome to this Mack Maine freestyle, live from Los Angeles, exclusively for Bread Over Bed.

Lil’ Wayne Postpones European Tour

20130305-LILWAYNEEURO

Weezy was headed overseas with Mac Miller & 2 Chainz but apparently changes his mind, in only temporarily:

I am rescheduling my European tour in order to release my album, I Am Not A Human Being II, world wide on March 26th. I didn’t want my tour or album to be rushed, so despite my best hopes, I have made the decision to push back the tour to October 2013. I cannot thank my European fans enough for their patience and look forward to performing in the fall with Mac Miller. I never do anything halfway, and I promise to bring what will be an incredible live show experience.
