French Montana – Xclusives Zone Interview

Last night, French Montana invited us to the studio and we were able to sit down with him for an interview. In the clip, he talks about his upcoming debut album ‘Excuse My French’ and the various collaborations and producers on it. He also reveals that Max B will be featured on another record called ‘Hey My Guy’, which will appear as a Best Buy bonus. French then lets us know that he had a record with Snoop Dogg and Lana Del Rey that didn’t make the album because he couldn’t clear it.

The Bad Boy artist then goes on to speak on his new single ‘Aint Worried About Nothin’, how people view him and his ‘best album of the decade’ comment. He goes on to say that his album will be the best to ever come out in Hip Hop. Finally he talks about where he wants to be in the upcoming years.

De La Soul Feat. Spirit Of The Wu – Get Away

de-la-soul-2013

De La Soul is returning with a new project titled You’re Welcome, and for the latest offering, they’ve channeled some Wu-Tang literally…from Posdnuos:

“I’ve always loved the ‘Intro’ on Disc Two of Wu-Tang Forever – this erie sample with no beat, that they only talked over, I stumbled on the original sample while crate digging one day, took it straight to the lab and added drums. The feel is definitely gritty, hard and sounds like a Wu record, so out of inspirational respect, we included featuring ‘The Spirit of the Wu’ in the song title.”

A Reportedly “Bitter” Rick Ross Stands To Lose Up To 5 Million On Dropped Reebok Deal

Sources close to the rapper tell TMZ … Ross will lose between $3.5 million and $5 million … he was getting a check each time he wore the shoes.

TMZ broke the story … Reebok dumped Ross for releasing the song U.O.E.N.O., which includes the lyric: “Put Molly [Ecstasy] all in the champagne. She ain’t even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain’t even know it.”

Ross issued a tepid apology … suggesting the lyrics were actually misinterpreted. He also pulled the song — which was only on a mixtape.

But that wasn’t enough for Reebok, which was taking heat from women’s groups for keeping Ross in its stable of spokespeople.

Ross is telling people he was entitled to corporate forgiveness because he did so much for the brand … bringing classic Reeboks back in style in the hip-hop community.

But Reebok was unmoved, saying, “We are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”
