Master P – Letter To My Daddy

This track from P comes with a message….and the song is taken from some upcoming movie (by No Limit Films?) called Father’s Day:

This is my letter to all of the fathers that are out their handling their business, to the ones who struggle and sacrifice for their kids and to the fathers that never get recognized for their commitment and contribution to their kids and families. This is my letter to yall. Nobody is perfect, even if you’re no longer with your baby’s mother, you’re still taking care of your kids and your responsibilities as a father. This letter is also to my own dad. I love you, Pops… Happy Father’s Day.

Will American Idol Handpick Former Contestants As The New Judges For Next Season?

jennifer-hudson-04-egotastic

First off, we heard that American Idol doesn’t want any of this season’s judges to return (not counting Randy Jackson, who is finally retiring from that shit anyway). From HHN247:

None of the four judges on the singing competition will be asked to return next season, an individual with knowledge of Fox’s plans told The Wrap. Longtime producer Nigel Lythgoe is expected to get the boot. And despite reports to the contrary, Fox isn’t even considering bringing former judge Jennifer Lopez back as a lifesaver for next season.

“All four are gone…they feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back.”

Now, the below news is coming from the same place that reported with certainty that Beyonce was pregnant, so take the news with caution. From E! News:

American Idol has nailed down its first alum turned judge: Jennifer Hudson.

Multiple sources confirm exclusively to E! News that the Oscar-winning singer has signed a deal to sit at the judges’ table this fall for season 13. The other two spots are also intended for former Idol contestants: Kelly Clarkson and either Adam Lambert or Clay Aiken.

We’re told that Clarkson is also close to signing on. No word yet on whether Lambert or Aiken will fill the final spot, but producers are expected to keep the panel to three members.
