Riff Raff Channels James Franco In ‘One Life To Live’
This is what I would call a mindf***: Riff Raff appeared on One Life to Live as club promoter Jamie Franko, who engaged in shady dealings while accompanied by two chicks. The entire thing is not only a nod to James Franco’s short role on General Hospital (where he played serial killer/artist “Franco”), but also a humorous irony given that Franco pretty much played as Riff Raff in Spring Breakers. Check it out above and try to make sense of it for yourself.
Talib Kweli Recites Jay-Z For Google’s ‘Dramatic Interpretations’
Songs lyrics can be hypnotic, poetic, seductive or inscrutable, and we’ve all had moments where we wonder about the meaning of a specific line or a stanza. For our “Dramatic Interpretations” series, Google Play presents some of today’s top artists with a classic song verse, and asks them to give a reading of it as well as present their own interpretation. The results are funny, and offer insight into both the artist and the song. Here Talib Kweli reads a verse from Jay-Z’s “Moment of Clarity”.
