I don’t see her on the top ten list yet, but she’s definitely on the website. From Rolling Stone:
Tupac Shakur’s godmother [or step-aunt] has been placed on the FBI’s Most-Wanted Terrorists list, becoming the first woman added to the list and only the second domestic terrorist. Joanne Chesimard, now known as Assata Shakur, was convicted in 1977 of the murder of 34-year-old state trooper Werner Foerster on the New Jersey Turnpike. After her conviction, she escaped prison in 1979 and fled to Cuba.
The FBI says it added Chesimard, 66, to the list because she is “a supreme terror against the government” who continues to advocate revolution and terrorism against the U.S. “She’s a danger to the American government,” said Aaron T. Ford, agent in charge of the F.B.I.’s Newark division, according to The New York Times. Chesimard was a member of the Black Panther Party, which was monitored by the FBI with both legal and illegal surveillance in the Sixties and Seventies.
And now, the million dollar question: does Assata Shakur really deserve to be on this list?

“What [Jason Collins’ coming out] does for sports? It’s opening a lot of doors and it’s showing that it’s a fair world out there,” Wayne told MTV News on Saturday morning (May 4) when we sat with him in Miami at a launch party for his new Spectre by Supra sneaker, the Chimera. “Just to see how many people came to his support and things like that, that’s a pretty fair world out there. With his beloved L.A. Lakers out of contention, the South Beach resident now believes that LeBron James and the Miami Heat are the clear-cut favorite to take the basketball crown. Clearly his past spat with the team hasn’t affected how he analyzes the game. “C’mon man, you know you can’t beat that machine out here in Miami man. Nobody can beat that machine. I have yet to see someone beat that machine,” he said. “I think the [San Antonio] Spurs will give them a run for their money but, that machine, the Miami Heat.”
Rapper Arrested….For Not Handing Over His Arizona Iced Tea
Of course, this went down in Fayetteville, NC. I really don’t know who the rapper is, though…..but I’ll let them tell it (no editing):
Xstrav and Tino Brown at the ABC Liquor store located in Fayeteville North Carolina waiting for Money Mal to come so that they could purchase some liquor. Suddenly an undercover cop approaches the both of them and demands to see what Xstrav is drinking. X shows him that its an Arizona Half And Half Ice Tea, the undercover demands that he hands it over so that he can read the ingredients. Once Xstrav denies handing over his can the cop tells him to leave the property for trespassing. Out of nowhere an actual drunken stranger walks up starts giving shout outs and smelling like liquor…OBVIOUSLY drunk and he is just ignored and walks away without incident. Then the cop tells X to put his hands behind his back so X gets arrested for trespassing. This is just a classic case of a cop taking advantage of his power and arresting a another black man for not doing things the way HE wanted him to do them. X was asked to show him what is in the can…After showing the cop that it was an Arizona Tea, that should’ve been it but because he didn’t put it in the cops hand, the cop was upset and decided to put any charge on him….Share and thanks for watching…2nd video which shows the actual cop car showing up and arresting him

Funeral Service Set For Kris Kross Rapper Chris Kelly
Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta confirmed Saturday that funeral services are set for next week for former Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly.
Billboard reports that the funeral home will hold a public viewing for Kelly throughout the afternoon and evening on Wednesday, May 8 and a funeral service for Thursday at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church.
Chris Kelly a/k/a known as “Mac Daddy,” was found unresponsive in his home on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 1. He was was transported to Atlanta Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
