A month after being hospitalized with a gunshot wound, AraabMuzik rocked an incredible Bonnaroo set. Immediately afterward, he dropped a bombshell on Fuse: He and legendary producer Just Blaze are doing a project together. “We’re working on an album with Slaughterhouse. We’re just putting a lot of music together and actually composing and everything together.” AraabMuzik says the collaboration so far has been “inspirational.”

Apparently Bonnaroo was one of the first things on AraabMuzik’s mind while he was recovering from “being in the wrong place at the wrong time” and being shot during an attempted robbery. “I’m sittin’ in the hospital like, ‘Yo, I’m not missin’ Bonnaroo,'” he tells us. “This is my first comeback show, so I felt like it was only right to be able to come out and just show the world I’m back. I never left, but Bonnaroo is such a big festival that I couldn’t miss it.”
