With three penalties applied, the starting grid for the 2013 Canadian Grand Prix changes a little from qualifying, albeit a minor amount.

Romain Grosjean, who qualified 19th, will start 22nd and last after he was handed a 10-place penalty in Monaco for running into the back of Daniel Ricciardo.

Meanwhile Ricciardo and Kimi Raikkonen were both given two-place grid drops after they failed to exit the pits safely during the Q2 restart.

However, a quirk in the regulations means they lose just one place each, as Ricciardo was given his penalty before Raikkonen.

Ciara Served Lawsuit Papers….In The Middle Of Performance

That process server is hilarious. From TMZ:

Ciara’s performance at LA Pride did not go as planned last night … because she was served with legal papers right in the middle of her show!

As TMZ first reported … Hit Factory, a popular West Hollywood club, sued the singer for bailing on a performance scheduled for Friday night. Ciara’s people maintain they informed the club she could not be there, but they continued to promote her appearance anyway.

Since the club people knew exactly where Ciara was going to be Saturday night, they sent their process server right up to the stage to hand her the papers … which she quickly tossed back.

LIVE STREAM: French Open Men’s Final — Rafael Nadal Vs. David Ferrer

On Sunday, Rafael Nadal will try and secure his eighth French Open championship when he takes on David Ferrer in the finals at Roland Garros. Serena Williams just bested defending champion Maria Sharapova on the women’s side Saturday, and Ferrer will be hoping to do the same, given that Nadal took home the crown last year.

Nadal and Ferrer have a long history, but it’s mostly slanted in favor of the world No. 3. Nadal has won 19 of 23 matches against Ferrer since 2004, including 16-1 on a clay surface and 2-0 at Roland Garros. Ferrer is, as expected, the underdog, though he’s been playing impressive tennis this tournament, having not dropped a set at Roland Garros this year.

Group t.A.T.u. Reportedly Being Sued For $20 Million

Why? From TMZ:

The group’s popularity declined in 2003 — following the massive hit “All the Things She Said” (above) — and Lena Katina (red hair) and Julia Volkova (black hair) eventually broke up years later, but a manager named Tristram Buckley insists he’s responsible for bringing them back together.

Buckley has sued t.A.T.u. member Lena Katina (the redhead) as well as the group’s founders, claiming he managed Lena from March 2012 – March 2013, and completely turned around her dwindling career. Buckley says his hard work culminated last year when t.A.T.u. reunited.

When he met Lena, Buckley says the singer was depressed and directionless — her solo career was losing money, and she was “arrogant, abrasive, confrontational and rude” to fans — and he rebuilt her image from the ground up.

But Buckley claims he was hung out to dry … wrongfully terminated after just one year, and never paid for his services.

He’s now suing for fraud, breach of contract, defamation and more — demanding more than $20,000,000 in damages.
