There was some backlash about the performance outfits for the Chime concert. Since a woman’s body has been deeply connected to sin, it’s easy to forget all the power and beauty her body and sexuality possesses. Yes, with this power comes great responsibility, but how was Beyonce’s tasteful outfit irresponsible? Here is the problem I see, a woman’s body is too much power for one woman to have, even Beyonce. Although we see corporations exploit this power through women and girls, with far less clothing on than Beyonce, to sell their products, do we protest? But hey, a woman has to be in check, right? Know her position since we’ve all been taught that a powerful woman is dangerous and that a powerful man makes the world go round. Here’s the deal… soon the reign of shame on a woman’s body and her control of it will end. She will be autonomous. For she can’t truly be free without it. And oh boy…what a different world this place will be…when she is free.

Tiara Thomas Signs With Division 1/Interscope

Things aren’t bad at all in Tiara Thomas’ camp by any means. The singer/songwriter has inked a deal with the Interscope Records family, joining Rico Love’s Division1.
The 23-year-old Indianapolis native is the mighty pen behind Wale’s hit single “Bad,” a song she co-wrote and co-produced before linking with the record’s lyricist.
According to Biz Journals, Thomas is the first signee to Love’s startup. This comes as a surprise to fans who believed she’d stay linked up to MMG’s “Gifted” MC. However, her new home welcomes her with open arms.
“Tiara is a gifted and versatile artist,” commented John Janick, President of Interscope Geffen A&M. “We’re excited to work with Rico and Divison1 to develop and expose her extraordinary talent.”

UPDATE: I’m sure we all expected this….there’s simply no way Scott Weiland’s going down without a fight. From TMZ:
Weiland has now filed a countersuit, accusing the 3 other members of secretly plotting his ouster. Weiland says it’s particularly galling, rhetorically asking, “How do you expel a man from the band that he started, named, sang lead on every song, wrote the lyrics, and was the face of for twenty years?”
Weiland now wants to thwart the efforts of the remaining members to grab the STP name, asking that a judge formally dissolve the band partnership.
Weiland also wants a minimum of $7 mil in damages.

Stone Temple Pilots claims Scott Weiland screwed the band out of millions of dollars and now it’s looking forward to a very important date — in court.
The band claims Weiland sabotaged it’s 20th anniversary tour by being chronically late for performances and missing promotional gigs. The band also claims in the lawsuit Weiland had a plan to seize all the glory, to the point he wouldn’t even communicate with band members. They say Weiland’s plan was simple — “hijack” the tour.
The band had actually fired Weiland in February and hired the lead singer of Linkin Park to replace him, but they claim Weiland got vindictive and tried to interfere with the release of its new single.
Stone Temple Pilots is asking for unspecified damages.

The guy that Keyshawn Johnson should be mad at is in fact not Justin Bieber, but Tyler, The Creator. Go figure (and we posted about this too)….from TMZ:
Tyler, the Creator says Keyshawn Johnson is DEAD WRONG — claiming HE was driving Justin Bieber’s Ferrari during the infamous chase through Calabasas.
Tyler’s message was clearly intended for Johnson — who told TMZ he personally witnessed Justin in the driver’s seat after the car dangerously sped through their gated community. We’re told at least 3 other people also saw Justin behind the wheel.
Either way, the residents of Justin’s neighborhood are PISSED — and are threatening to withhold their HOA dues until the community takes action against Bieber.
