Jeantel was deemed as an implausible source due to her ‘lack of education.’ The 19-year-old was berated by many due to her speech, appearance and mannerisms. Fortunately her testimony and recent appearance on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight,” influenced Tom Joyner to lend a helping hand.
Joyner reached out to Jeantel and offered her a full scholarship to any HBCU of her choice. In addition to assisting the young teen with college, he also wants to help her complete high school with the best tutors and SAT courses. Jeantel hopes to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Hits Daily Double has revealed that Jay-Z will sell over a half-million copies of his latest album, the now number 1 Magna Carta… Holy Grail; this is, of course, in addition to the million hits he already locked in (thanks to Samsung) before the album even dropped. Behind that in the distance are Ciara’s self-titled project, at number 2 with 57,000+, and J. Cole, who keeps it moving at number 3 with 38,000+.
Other notable releases include Kanye West’s Yeezus (#6 – 28,000+), Wale’s The Gifted (#7 – 27,000+) and Skylar Grey’s now sadly titled Don’t Look Down, which enters the charts at an okay #8 with a not-so-okay 24,000+.

Obviously, this is pure satire. The Onion reports:
Just days after being fully acquitted for his role in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman reportedly won the $37 million Florida Lottery jackpot last night. “Yeah! All right!” said a visibly smiling Zimmerman, holding the winning lottery ticket he purchased on a whim hours after he was found not guilty for shooting and killing the unarmed 17-year-old. “I just figured why not, you know? I think I’ll probably use the money to buy a bigger house and a new car, and I’ll invest the rest. This is just fantastic. Life is good.” Zimmerman added that he’ll never have to worry about money again.

Justin Bieber Accused Of Spitting In Someone’s Face……Again
The new bad boy of Pop music. From TMZ:
An Ohio man claims Justin Bieber confronted him inside a bar and SPIT IN HIS FACE this weekend … all because JB thought he was secretly taking pics.
The man — a DJ who performed at the Social Room on Park Street in Columbus, OH earlier that evening — called in to the Dave and Jimmy show on WNCI and explained the saga … saying it all started in the VIP room.
“Two of Bieber’s bouncers approached me and said I was trying to take pictures of Bieber.”
The man thinks JB was concerned because it was a 21+ night in the club … and Justin’s only 19.
The DJ says Bieber’s people grabbed his phone and started going through it looking for pics — but didn’t find any. Still, the man claims, the bouncers told JB the DJ was trying to take pics.
According to the DJ, Justin approached him moments later … and spouted off a couple of “choice words.”
“He called my mom something, called my dad something, called me something … and spit in my face.”
TMZ spoke to the DJ … who tells us he plans on filing charges. He’s also been tested for hepatitis … but says the tests came back negative.
The DJ’s story is interesting because it’s not the first time Bieber has been accused of spitting in someone’s face. The singer’s neighbor in Calabasas made the same allegation when he confronted Justin about speeding in their gated community.
Bieber’s official rep refused to comment — but a source in JB’s camp tells TMZ, “Everything’s been going really well on the tour and it’s just really sad that someone would copycat others’ baseless claims just to try and get attention for themselves.”

MTV is set to make history on Wednesday at 8 a.m. ET when the nominees for the night’s top prize, Video of the Year, will be unveiled exclusively on MTV’s Instagram and Vine accounts. It will mark the first time an awards show has ever announced nominations through those social media platforms.
Each hour after the Video of the Year reveal, MTV will post additional Instagram and Vine videos highlighting the nominees in other categories. It’s just the latest in a series of iconic firsts for the 30th anniversary show, which will touch down in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center on August 25.
