JAY Z decided to stop by Facebook headquarters to meet with CEO Mark Zuckerberg, presumably to get advice on how to score that next 500 million. He was in town (San Francisco) for the latest stop of his Legends Of The Summer tour with Justin Timberlake.

Malisa Grace’s latest was written and produced by previous collaborator TenBennys. Follow them to their new tune below.

Rudimental Feat. Childish Gambino – Feel The Love (Woz Remix)
Not only do we get a remix from Woz, but the producer also adds back-on-the-music-scene Childish Gambino in the mix as well.

UPDATE: Snoop Lion On ‘Chelsea Letely’
UPDATE: Below is an added clip of Chelsea Handler and Snoop Lion trying the dog food (mentioned below) while backstage in the Green Room.
****************************************
The main topic of this interview in a really dope collaboration the two have been working on; Dog For Dog is basically food that is created for both humans and dogs to enjoy, but it also helps prevent dog euthanasia. They also talked about marijuana.

UPDATE: DMX Arrested For DUI; Rep For DMX Responds To Allegations
UPDATE: From MTV:
DMX was arrested early Friday morning (July 26), but the rapper insists that the press has it all wrong.
“Allegations about DMX being arrested for drunk driving are false. He was arrested early this morning but quickly released. X was given a breathalyzer test and easily passed it,” the MC’s rep told MTV News in a written statement, adding that the rapper was charged with driving without a license.
MTV News reached out to the Greenville Police Department in South Carolina for confirmation, but had not heard back at press time.
“He is back at his home in South Carolina and we are continuing our focus on his upcoming album and acting roles,” his rep told MTV News.

Damn. From USA Today:
The South Carolina Highway Patrol has confirmed that DMX was charged with driving under the influence.
Earlier Friday, DMX’s publicist, Domenick Nati, had denied the charge. “Allegations about DMX being arrested for drunk driving are false,” Nati’s statement read. “He was arrested early this morning but quickly released. X was given a breathalyzer test and easily passed it.”
Nati told USA TODAY that the rapper was pulled over because he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
The rapper was seen driving “erratically” Thursday night at about 11:30 p.m. when he was pulled over on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to Sgt. Bob Beres of the South Carolina Highway Patrol’s media relations department.
After failing a field sobriety test, he was transported to the Greenville Detention Center and charged with driving under the influence, not having a driver’s license and not wearing a seat belt, Beres says.
Frank Ocean Cancels Australian Tour Due To Torn Vocal Chord
Ouch. You can check out a clip from the first and only show on that tour above (I’ve added an additional clip below as well). From Billboard:
Frank Ocean has canceled his sold-out Australian tour after suffering with throat problems on opening night. A trip to the doctors has revealed he has a tear to one of his vocal chords.
The rising R&B star had launched his inaugural tour Down Under with a concert Thursday night at Melbourne’s Festival Hall. But he didn’t pull up well.
Ocean’s Friday night show at the same venue has been shelved, and two shows next week (July 29 and July 30) at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion have also been axed, tour promoter Live Nation said today. His planned performance at Splendour in the Grass this Sunday now won’t go ahead.
“After last night’s concert… it was necessary to seek medical advice due to vocal issues Frank Ocean experienced during the show,” the promoter comments in a statement. “It has subsequently been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal cords and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice.”
ARTWORK: Big Sean – Hall Of Fame
The artwork for Big Sean’s upcoming album Hall Of Fame was designed by Kanye West’s DONDA group. The album drops August 27th; the Deluxe Edition cover is below (as well as some Instagram commentary from Big Sean himself).
Shayne Brown (@Shayne_Brown) – Perseverance (Video)
The latest visual from North Londoner Shayne Brown.
ALBUM STREAM: NBA 2K14 Soundtrack
What piqued my interest in this soundtrack was the fact that it was executive produced by Lebron James, and I wondered what music would come from the mind of one of the greatest modern athletes out there. It turns out that Bron Bron is just as mundane as today’s radio. If you’re interested in a listen, the stream for the project is below.
TRAILER: JAY Z – Picasso Baby
JAY Z is set to release his new video for ‘Picasso Baby’ on HBO this coming Friday, August 2nd at 11pm EST. He will also appear on Real Time With Bill Maher following the premiere.
ARTWORK: Lil’ Kim – Hard Core: Back 2 Da Streetz
I’m down for a new project from Lil’ Kim, with a couple of reservations:
- She’s got big cahones calling any of her present day music a sequel to the classic Hard Core; and
- If she pulls a stunt like a mail-order bullshit from before she is officially excommunicated from Hip-Hop.
With that said, I’m interested to hear what she has to offer with her latest.
Kane (@KaneUHF) – Raindrops (Video)
Kane drops his latest visual for ‘Raindrops’, which is available for preorder here.
The video tells a story of a relationship where one partner finds it difficult to express their feelings. The other partner reassures them that they are not alone and wants to help if only they knew what was going on in their mind. It promotes openness in a relationship.
BEHIND THE SCENES: Ace Hood Feat. Meek Mill – Before The Rollie
15 Minutes of Fame Radio speaks to Meek Mill while on the set of his videoshoot for ‘Before The Rollie’ in New Jersey (spotted: Arsonal).
Mimi Storm (@Mimi_Storm) - Mimi In Wonderland (EP)
Tracklist, stream and download link above (obviously).
Known for her bass-centric fusion of Dubstep, Drum & Bass and Hip-Hop, MiMi Storm now strikes with this new seven-track EP “MiMi In Wonderland”. From her debut mixtape release “Storm After The Rain” and single “P.M.F.T” taken from the MiMi In Wonderland EP, MiMi Storm has put in the necessary work to take her sound from Grime to an awesome niche she calls “ Futuristic Wave”. “It’s music you can zone to by connecting to an emotion”.
BEHIND THE SCENES: Ty Dolla $ign Feat. Joe Moses – Paranoid
Ty Dolla $ign got together with Alex Nazari to shoot the official music video for his new hit record “Paranoid” from his new mixtape Beach House 2.
SD – Life Of A Savage 3 (Mixtape)
GBE’s SD dropped a new mixtape a couple of days a go that I accidently overlooked….Life Of A Savage 3 boasts features from Gino Marley, Riff Raff, Ballout and more with production from the likes of KE on the Track, YG on the Beat, Southside on the Track (WTF is up with these producer’s names?) and more. Tracklist, stream and download link below.
Foxy Brown (Allegedly) Stole Weave From A Hair Shop (Video)
This video is supposed to show someone named G-Star putting Foxy Brown on blast for stealing some weave; I can’t really tell, other than the fact that it does appear to be the rapper in the Instagram clip. As far as what she is doing exactly, you be the judge.
Shawn Chrystopher – The Temptation (Video)
Shawn Chrys lets go of the visual to hit self-produced cut ‘The Temptation’, directed by Christian Padron. The Lovestory LP is out now.
Jay Sean Feat. Busta Rhymes – Break Of Dawn
Taken from Jay Sean’s forthcoming album Neon, due July 30th. I’m going to need both artists to get more creative than this.
