“New” J Dilla! This time, its not just another beat from a tape that’s been out forever. The song “Diamonds” was produced by Nottz, was originally titled “The Shining Pt. 1″ and was leaked unmixed a while ago. This version of the song will be released on a pending EP, Diamond & Ice, which will also feature Dilla rapping over a Madlib beat for the song “Ice (The Shining Pt. 2),”, an alternate version of “Ice,” and a Madlib bonus beat, “The D.” Diamonds & Ice will be released August 27 and another Dilla project, The Diary will come out later this year.
