A new Longway track that appeared on Pretty Boy Tank and Spinz’ new mixtape The Real Atlanta 2. Shout out to Charlie.
Rick Ross revealed last night in an interview with DJ Envy on Hip-Hop Nation that he has another record with Jeezy that will appear on Jeezy’s next album.
Future’s latest visual for the infectious ‘Move That Dope‘ (mainly thanks to Pharrell’s return to his brand of ‘real rap’, in my opinion) will premiere tomorrow on 106 & Park.
Pharrell called into Hot 97 to speak with Angie Martinez on his new album G I R L. He also spoke on the album coming out the same day as Rick Ross’ Mastermind, his hat, the Oscars, his wife and much more. Positive guy (why wouldn’t he be?).

Move over, Kendrick: as we expected, TDE’s next out of the gate locks in at #1 on the Billboard charts with well over 130,000 copies scanned (KiD CuDi, Romeo Santos & the Oscar-winning Frozen soundtrack is expected to make the top 5 as well). This gives Top Dawg Ent. their first official chart-topper thanks to Taylor Swift beating out good kid, m.A.A.d city in 2012.

Spotted on Contact Music:
Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles has won a reduction in his child support payments by more than $9,000 (£5,402).
The former music manager was ordered to pay his former mistress Alexsandra Wright $12,000 (£7,202)-a-month after a paternity test proved he is father of her son, Nixon, who was born in February, 2010.
However, his superstar daughter dismissed him as her manager in 2011, greatly decreasing his income from a reported $3 million (£1.8 million) a year to $127,000 (£76,212) in 2013.
Because of his plummeting income and a reported $51,000 (£30,605) spent on monthly expenses, Knowles asked a California judge to lower his child support payments to Wright, and his request was approved, according to TMZ.com.
Now Knowles is only required to hand over $2,485 (£1,492) a month, which is $9,515 (£5,711) less than his previous payments.
Beyonce’s mother Tina filed for divorce from her husband of 29 years in 2009 just weeks after Wright submitted her paternity lawsuit.
Birdman made absolutely sure that his daughter Bria Williams received a Sweet 16 celebration that will rival that of billionaires. It went down at the Bath Club in Miami this past weekend, complete with a golden cake, a new car matte black Mercedes G-Class truck and a personal birthday serenade from none other than Justin Bieber (below). You can check out a few pics from the part above.
Sidenote: one of the guests (and a performer, I believe) was Young Thug, who seems to be doing well following his recent arrest…
Jada Pinkett-Smith was a recent guest on Arsenio for some reason (while she does have a movie in the works, that’s not for a while….she just came on the show and talk life, I suppose), and during the interview was fairly candid on her relationship with Hip-Hop icon 2Pac:
Pac was probably one of the first male figures that I had in my life that saw the beauty and the talent and my intelligence, separated from sex. That’s something that a child, a young girl usually gets from her father. I didn’t have that. Pac was the first one… that… it wasn’t about sex. It was about, ‘You? You’re a beautiful woman. You’re talented. You’re strong. I respect you and you are MY girl! You’re gonna sit right here and I’m gonna protect you! I’mma make sure, if nothing else, you get what you need!’ And that’s what our relationship was like. We kind of did that for each other.
She also spoke on meeting her husband for the first time:
When I was 19, I auditioned to play one of his girlfriends on Fresh Prince and they told me I was too short. But then, many years later, once I started a film career and everything, Mr. Smith decided he wanted to come and ask me to play his girlfriend again. And I had to tell him ‘no’ again. Thank goodness because I think if I had done it, we would not be married today. Because you have to meet people when you’re ready and neither one of us were ready at that time.
Check out more in the interview clips below.
Beyonce is currently still in London rocking shows for her world tour….a couple of nights ago, she was performing her single ‘XO’ when she had a wig throw at her on stage. One of the more random moments for King Bey, I’d imagine….she even kept the wig, apparently:
In the land of gimmicks, it only made creative sense for Angie Martinez to propose the board/puzzle game Mastermind to Rick Ross, who’s new album Mastermind is out now.

From the Guardian:
Apple has rebranded its iOS in the Car initiative as CarPlay, and unveiled Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo as the first partners to build it into their vehicles.
Originally announced at Apple’s WWDC conference in 2013, iOS in the Car aimed to connect iPhones into in-car information and entertainment systems.
The rebranding was announced this morning at the Geneva International Motor Show, making it clear that CarPlay is the in-car equivalent to Apple’s AirPlay technology in the living room.
Apple’s Siri virtual assistant technology is key to the initiative, acting as the interface for drivers to access their contacts, make calls and listen to voicemails, while also reading out messages and responding to voice commands.
Apple’s Maps service will be a key feature in CarPlay too, with routes shown on the car’s own screen, and spoken turn-by-turn directions. Digital music is also part of CarPlay, but it is not an iTunes-only affair, with Spotify and US service iHeartRadio among the third-party apps that will work with it.
Apple stressed that it had safety in mind when designing CarPlay. “iPhone users always want their content at their fingertips and CarPlay lets drivers use their iPhone in the car with minimised distraction,” said vice president of iPhone and iOS product marketing Greg Joswiak.
Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo will be showing off their first CarPlay cars this week. All three were included on a slide shown at WWDC of partners for iOS in the Car, so have been working with Apple for some time on in-car technology.
The company said today it also has deals with 13 more manufacturers to integrate CarPlay in the future: BMW Group, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai Motor Company, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia Motors, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan Motor Company, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota Motor Corp.
Here, as in other areas of its business, Apple is engaged in fierce competition with Google, which launched an initiative called the Open Automotive Alliance in January at the CES trade show in Las Vegas. Based on its Android operating system, its founding partners included GM, Honda, Audi and Hyundai.
