Chief Keef posted on Instagram today (March 28) that he will be paying for the funeral of Jakariah Patterson.
Two-year-old Patterson was found dead earlier this month. Her father, Jeremiah L. Thompson, was ordered to be held without bail after being charged with her killing, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The report says that Thompson killed Patterson in their Lansing, Illinois residence after she soiled herself while he was taking care of her. She was not toilet trained.
“RIP TO JAKARIAH PATTERSON BEAT TO DEATH BY. TELL THE NEWS TO REPORT THIS IM PAYING FOR THE FUNERAL,” the Chicago rapper wrote on his Instagram account.

Word has been going around that Chief Keef was involved in a shooting at the home of his manager earlier this week, and while the Chi-Town’s manager told TMZ that Keef was there but was not the shooter, Sosa wants everyone to know that any rumors that he was in fact the victim are a bunch of bull.
“Who lied and said I got shot! ?????????? Stop It Girrrrrlllll. This girl goes out to u boys too!,” Keef tweeted on Thursday.
Coincidentally, Chief Keef posted several pictures to Instagram just a few days before the shooting of him and fellow Glo Gang rapper Ballout showing off their guns.
