Alexandria, Virginia’s Drilla has been rapping less than a calendar year, and has already restarted the wave of artists from the D.C. suburb. Alongside artists like VonnyFromDaATM and PacoSuavee, Drilla set the trend for the new Alexandria music scene. “Venting” is one of my favorite of his recent releases, alongside tracks like “Jus A Message”, “Option”, and “Pressure”.
