X Factor contestant Tamera Foster was reportedly caught shoplifting make-up from Boots just a month after her first audition for the show.

The 16-year-old singer and two of her friends were spotted by security guards trying to leave the store in Gravesend, Kent, on July 24th, according to the Daily Mirror.

However, after being held by security guards, bosses at the store decided to deal with teenager Tamera through ‘restorative justice’, the paper quotes Kent Police as saying.

In this case, a manager at the store would have asked Tamera why she stole the products, and apologise for the incident rather than getting the police involved and pressing charges.

Tamera is also believed to have paid for the products she attempted to steal in full.

Since the incident, Tamera is said to have issued a grovelling apology to X Factor bosses, telling them: ‘I’m so so sorry.’

Earlier this month, Tamera’s boyfriend Joshante Amihyia, 20, claimed that she stole him from another woman.
He said: ‘What she wants, she gets, and when I was in a relationship, she wanted me.

‘We were texting each other and we kissed several times behind my girlfriend’s back, although we didn’t sleep together.’
