330 (@330_music) Feat. OSK (@os_kill) – Paparazzi Love
For decades we’ve relied on Stevie Wonder and Disney to provide music for our birthday celebrations. 330’s new single “Paparazzi Love” is yet another option on the list of birthday songs.
Originally inspired as a birthday gift, “Paparazzi Love” details an evening full of surprises 330 had lined up for an ex-girlfriend’s birthday. When asked about the song, 330 says, “The song feels good. First of all, who knew Kill could sing like that? She sounds great on the record. I wanted to create something that was celebratory and honest; personal but relatable. Wishing my girl a happy birthday but acknowledging that it was just a moment in time and that it was likely that in the following moment, I will screw something up. That’s actually what happened: when she got home from the concert things went all the way wrong lol.”
Months after the botched night, 330 teamed up with producer and singer/songwriter OSK to rerecord the song. Jerome Vo, 330’s former high school classmate, created the soulful beat and features live guitar by Bobby Dunne. Young Yankee of Charged Up Studios expertly recorded and mixed the record in Richmond, VA.
Addressing the paparazzi reference, 330 explains, “It’s the idea that people are paying attention—sometimes more so than we appreciate. Everyone has been in a relationship where they were the subject of gossip and disapproval. ‘Let’s make it a headline story’ … basically, let’s give them something positive to talk about. Let’s go out and have a good time celebrating you.”

Wale: “Fat Trel Might Appear On Self Made 3”
Wale stopped by Sway In The Morning on Shade 45 Tuesday and hinted that Fat Trel might appear on Self Made 3. More specifically, he stated that Rick Ross might jump on ‘MFS‘ — which originally appears on Target’s Deluxe Edition of The Gifted — and add the remix to the upcoming MMG compilation, which is set to drop on August 6th.

UPDATE: Lamar Odom Attacks Paparazzi (Video); Reason For Attack Revealed
UPDATE: This was apparently due to the paparazzi asking a line of questions related to recent cheating rumors within his marriage to Khloe Kardashian. TMZ Reports:
The violent incident was captured on video … where Mr. Khloe Kardashian was seen going into the back of a car belonging to one of the paps, and chucking all of the guy’s equipment into the middle of a busy street.
He then walked across the street and smashed another photog’s car with a metal bar, then picked up all the gear from the street and put it in his trunk.
Curiously, right after raging against the paps, Lamar also had a run-in with a fan — and couldn’t have been nicer. Watch the video … it’s kinda bizarre.
It’s unclear why Lamar was so angry … when the video starts he’s already digging through the pap’s car.
So far, no one’s filed a police report. We haven’t heard back from Lamar’s reps.

Following her performance on Friday at the 2013 ESSENCE Music Festival, Jill Scott visited the press room for photos and questions. The soulful songstress shared some details about the two new albums she has been working on. The first, entitled ‘The Lullaby’ album has been created for adults as well as infants to be played at bedtime. The second LP, which she wasn’t able to share the name yet or much info, will be very different, and possibly a new sound for the singer/songwriter.
Lil’ Twist Arrested For DUI While Driving One Of Justin Bieber’s Cars

I hate to say it but, it was only a matter of time. A recent update also states that he had a lit blunt in the car at the time of his arrest. From TMZ:
Lil Twist — Justin Bieber’s lackey — was ARRESTED for DUI in Calabasas, CA early this morning … while behind the wheel of Justin’s famous chromed- out Fisker Karma … TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us … 20-year-old Twist — real name Christopher Lynn Moore — was pulled over for speeding around 3:30 AM on Parkway Calabasas, while en route to Bieber’s mansion.
When officers approached the car, they believe Twist appeared to be under the influence of a substance … but we’re told he DID NOT appear to be drunk.
Twist was arrested and hauled to a nearby station where he was booked for DUI.

UPDATE: Nick Cannon gave the full details on exactly what happened, and it sounds like it did indeed hurt.
She’s such a trouper man, she definitely took a big fall. She was on a marble surface, she was in this beautiful gown, but she couldn’t maneuver properly. She went to reach out for Young Jeezy [and] kinda lost her [balance]. She was kinda sitting down but she fell off these platforms and kinda dislocated her shoulder because it was right on the concrete. She chipped her shoulder and dislocated it and she cracked a rib. I dove and tried to help her. Young Jeezy was like ‘Yo! Are you alright?’ because she was reaching for him and he was right there and she was like ‘Yo! Just pop it back in and keep shooting.’ I was like ‘What? No, you stay down’. We got her to the hospital and the whole time she was on the phone with me like still directing the video, while they were putting her arm back in and bandaging her up and she came back to the video shoot. She spent two hours and finished the music video. The doctor was like athletes come in here crying, passing out because of an injury and she just took it like a trouper.
Women know how to endure pain well. She’s recovering. She’s got a big show at Central Park and its going to be amazing. She’s still doing it. She’s probably going to have a blinged out cast. [The twins] gently touch her and kiss her and say ‘Mommy’s boo boo is going to be okay.’ They are like really gentle. Its nice to see.

“Mariah injured herself while filming a video for the remix of ‘#Beautiful,’ directed by her husband Nick Cannon,” the rep says. “She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home.”
