From MTV:

During the height of their well-publicized rap feud it didn’t seem that 50 Cent and Fat Joe would ever reach an accord. Unfortunately it took the death of their mutual manager Chris Lighty to bring peace between the two titans. Looking back on it all, Fif says it should’ve ended a long time ago.

“Fat Joe, that was interesting. The competitive nature of hip-hop forces us to compete,” 50 told MTV News correspondent Josh Horowitz when he walked the red carpet for the premiere of Will and Jaden Smith’s new sci-fi flick “After Earth” on Wednesday. “It was one of those things that it went on longer than it was supposed to with that one.”

According to court documents SunTrust Bank is suing Atlanta music producer Jermaine Dupri and his So So Def Productions.

The suit for $1.9M is claiming Dupri defaulted on a loan.

The suit was filed Thursday in Fulton County Superior Court.

SunTrust said Dupri took out a nearly $4.9 million loan in December 2010, but defaulted on the commercial note in May 2011.

So So Def was listed as the loan’s guarantor, according to the plaintiff.

The-Dream Feat. Pusha T & Big Sean – Pussy (Video)

Folks, the sales projections are in….and, while his singles and his contributions to other artists are on fire, The-Dream still can’t sell a full body of work. Above is his latest visual for the single ‘Pussy’, which is so not safe for work and straight to the point (the artists aren’t even in the clip) that he might as well have posted a porno in it’s place. If that won’t get you to buy his album, what will?

UPDATE: Chief Keef Arrested For Speeding (Video)

UPDATE: TMZ has the dash cam video.

Chief Keef was arrested Monday morning after police clocked the rapper doing 110 down the Edens.

Cozart, 17, was behind the wheel of a 2011 BMW, heading north about 3:45 a.m. Monday at Winnetka Road, when a Northfield police officer spotted him, said Northfield Deputy Chief Claude Casaletto.

“He was clocked at 110 in a 55 mph zone,” Casaletto said. “The officers typically sit off on the shoulder and wait for speeders. He came up as a high number.”

The officer pulled over Cozart and found three other men in the car with him. He was taken into custody, and one of the passengers was allowed to drive the BMW away. Casaletto said.

Cozart was brought to a police station and was cited for going 110 in a 55 mph zone and having too many passengers, the deputy chief said. Cozart has a driver’s permit which only allows one passenger with him.

Keef is due in court on June 17th to answer to the charges.
